We were only there for one night as a group but the staff were very accommodating. In keeping with much of the UK food/drink prices were a little steep

Good accommodation. Liked 2 chairs in the room , so that one person doesn't have to sit on the bed. Generally pleasant hotel. The price of the breakfasts.

The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and a very quiet place in the country side. Hotel does not provide free wifi (except for first four hours ). If we don't have transport, it is not near to food shops. We can't find food - though they have in the hotel ..but most hotels, nowadays, do include, at least breakfast in their package.

Room comfort good for money Breakfast food very slow not enough staff to ensure hot buffet kept full i had to wait 10minutes for some bread and didn't have bacon because rest of breakfast would have gone cold. Poor value for money

I felt at ease travelling alone. There was a local shop within walking distance. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Quick and efficient service. Having to carry my case up the stairs. Although only one flight, if you had a lot of luggage or were an elderly person it would have been a struggle. No porter was offered.

You know your getting a good quality, clean room with Holiday Inn and the location was key to the event I was attending. It's next to the m3 and breakfast is rather over priced at £20 extra

Having to pay for internet connection!!! What justifies the cost, when other places provide it free?

Easy accomadation Asked for a high and quiet room. Got a room on the ground floor (136)The room above had squeaky floor boards, hence the request for a high room in the first place. Also the coach in the car park started up at 8ish and filled the room with fumes.

Clean, staff were efficient and made our room available as we had to change for an early wedding and the hotel met our needs. There was a lot of noise from the room above when the occupants were walking about. If we had booked direct we would have had breakfast included for the same price.

The friendly & helpful staff, the excellent breakfast which was fresh and plentiful. I found the pillows hard - and that is the only thing that I was unhappy with.

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful-to the extent of printing a map to our evening location. The address is on the letterhead as Grove Road but the hotel is not on Grove Road but across a round-about on a different road(the name of which escapes me) hence the sat nav cannot locate it!

....the comfort mainly. The bed and bedding were unusually comfortable and the shower, well.... powerful and exactly the right temperature even though the hotel was full and I had my shower at a prime time. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend it and would stay again.

Excellent professional and welcoming staff. Good chain-style hotel with everything as you would expect. The staff are clearly making an effort to make sure everything is OK for you. The midday check-out is also extremely welcome at the weekend - more hotels should do this. A hotel at this level should have a proper shower, rather than a shower-over-a-bath fitting. Also - FREE BROADBAND!!! Why is a hotel like this still charging £5 an hour for broadband? £5 just to check your email? They seem to be trying in every other way to make an effort, how come this obvious rip-off has gone un-noticed. Even £1 an hour would be reasonable.

Breakfast, shower For an executive room at the price they charged the room was tiny. The airco inefficient, wardrobe space insufficient. The bed was uncomfortable and the shutters didnt keep out the light.

Generally it was ok but .... Booking.com details clearly stated under Room Details " This air- conditioned room ......" Our booking special requests stated clearly "Twin room with air-conditioning" but there was none available , upon asking why, the receptionist said he had spoken to the maintenance dept and no air-con was allowed to be switched on in any rooms ? We feel let down being loyal Holiday Inn Priority Club members ( I dont think points were added either ? ) having made every effort to ensure we had air con ,we could have saved £15 by booking the Hilton a few yards away .Disappointed and annoyed at lame excuse for simple request.
