everything was fine

Friendly,easy to get to,clean relaxed place to stay.

Bit tricky to access hotel from road Pool changing rooms in health club lack of privacy changing space and hairdryers not much use considering all other aspects think this needs more luxurious surroundings

The pool

Cost of drinks and menu does not have any daily specials

Fair sized pool and leisure facilities, good film choice

TV signal kept dropping out, room service arrived cold, breakfast in room was late, cold and missing items. The room also contained previous occupants dropped food and used chewing gum on the draw handle. We received holiday inn points by way of apology

Quality and price of the food and the assumption that a service charge will be paid!

The staff were so helpful and friendly always had a smile on their face, pool was lovely, booked again xxx

Nothing to dislike

The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable and the facilities were excellent.

The only downside was the location access (off of a dual carriageway)

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Good leisure facilities - nice pool.

Petty restrictions on menu E.G. steak and ale pie only available on room service menu, not in bar menu. Surely if the food is available to supply to the room it could be supplied to the bar?

Price. Pool.Clean and comfortable.

We were a mature couple in the company of our daughter, son-in-law and grandson. We particularly liked the swimming pool which we used on Sunday morning with our grandson. He loved it! I also requested adjoining rooms and this was what we had. Thank you.

Covenient to get to, easy access. Staff helpful.

Evening meal poor service. Ordered chefs "Dish of the Day" thinking it would be quick but took 35minutes of waiting and a request to find out where it was. Restaurant not very busy (10 people approx. Some already eating) After querying what had happened - suddenly dish appeared. Think it had been forgotten as indications of dish waiting uner a heat lamp - although not spoiled. Duty waitress was apolgetic and later offered a concession which I accepted. Generally felt that the service was not sharp (had to wait to gain entry, delayed service, tables not quickly cleared etc- repeat restaurant not busy)) and wondered how it would perform if very busy. Pity because evrything else was ok.

we liked the fact you were just opposite my parents home... the break we had was to visit our family.... the hotel was excellent, clean, comfortable and the staff were lovely... thank you for making our stay so easy.... will be back xx

Restaurant was good

Extra charge for internet access which was far too high. This should be included in the accommodation price

How clean it was and the fact that it had a fridge.

We were in the last room on the ground floor and the noise above us was awful. we had a very poor night sleep and were upset because a previos stay had been wonderful.

The automatic addition of a service charge to food orders. Generally, we thought the food was expensive, with the exception of the breakfast, which was reasonably good value.

Ideal location for the event that I was attending. Good parking area.

The cost of meals was high.

Went for wedding nearby, an ideal base for this. Even with the negative comments i would still use it as a base for this area.

expensive bar prices. expensive food. Saturday evening, group of approx 20 for dinner and it was obvious to all that kitchen was not capable of large party catering, as orders were wrong and food not a very good quality. If you get raodside room its very noisy
