Really welcoming, friendly & helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable throughout. Great bed, pillows and air conditioning made for great sleep. Brilliant large hd TV's with a decent choice of channels. My room had a view over the gardens and lake which was lovely as well as being quiet, despite the adjacent goings on in Festival Park itself. The great air con also means one can keep the double glazed windows closed in case of any noise. Fully recommend this hotel and I got a great room rate of £39 per night! Excellent. My only gripe, as with most hotel chains, is the lighting in the bedroom. No overhead light, so one has to rely on the ambient light from bedside lights. I find it very hard to read without an overhead light. Shame that all hotels these days seem to have gone down this route!

I very much liked the staff. Very friendly and there to help. Credit to the company. The only thing I found lacking was that there is no bottled water of any kind in the rooms. The staff told me that there's water in the exec rooms but to be honest I find the whole thing just mean and not a good reflection on the hotel. Our family stayed in a small village in the country side in the middle of Thailand this December past and even there water was provided as standard. So I say, come on, it's 2012 and your being as tight as a ducks. It's a small thing but it should not even be a factor in this day and age. I was genuinely embarrassed for the hotel and having to request this most basic of things. Once again, it's just plain mean and reflects badly on the company.

No traffic noise It was cold in our room and staff did nothing about is. There was no cleaning brush in the toilet. One of the bed lamps did not work and was not replaced after asking so. The water streemed very slow, there was hardly pressure on it.

It is situated in a leisure park with lots of places to go and see and do. During our stay while getting ready to go out the receptionist checked in another client in to our room and a middle aged gentlemen walked in as I said while we was getting ready I told the hotel staff all I got was an apology and no reasurrance it wouldn't happen again or any form of good will gesture, this aside I'm sure it was a genuine mistake but still wasn't happy was a huge shock.

Excellent breakfast, big room. Quiet area. The WiFi cost (£15.00) is ridiculous in this day and age !! Good job we only stayed one night.

The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We took 4 dogs with us, who were allowed everywhere, except for the restuarant - quite happy to have them off lead in the hotel grounds. Would definitely use this hotel again.

The hotel and rooms were tired and dated but clean. I had stayed in a holiday inn Express in the same week which was more modern for 1/3 of the cost.

Quiet hotel, peaceful location; very restful to wake to views of lawn and lake; easy to drive to and park. Excellent breakfast. Restaurant has very limited and over-fancy evening menu. In the bedrooms anyone under about 6 ft tall will have difficulty reaching hangers and kettle.

The car port and trolleys for unloading the car. Well equiped rooms. Nice restaurant with pretty window views. We had a family wedding here, the room was nice and so was the garden for the photos. The buffet food was excellent, fresh and warm. A really nice place to get married at - highly recommend. The breakfast was not frshly cooked but from a hot plate. I do not like a cooked breakfast but at the price you had to have one. However there was a good selection of fresh fruit. The rooms were nice but the bathrooms are in need of a refurb.
