1) despite booking was made via booking.com, but the reservation was not found on the system at check-in. 2) the toilet was very dirty and did not appear to have been cleaned since the last resident. |

Plenty of parking. Breakfast buffet food is of good quality. The hotel sits right next to Basildon's Festival Place, which has quite a few clubs - so in the weekend you'll see and hear loud clubbers up to 3am. |

It's location to other facilities The resturant was only accesable via stairs from the ground floor so had to travle from 2nd to ground, through recpetion up satirs to resturant for meals |

speedy check in/out, bed and pillows, housekeeping staff had a loud radio on while cleaning the rooms. the restaurant where breakfast is served - too small. |

It does what it says on the tin.. Holiday Inn, clean enough and simple enough. The place looks a bit dated and the bar is expensive. |

View, lake, quiteness. Old-looking, no minibar or other facilities. Their "green policy" only includes what they save money on, not what costs (environmental-friendly materials or organics, portion-packed food). "Buffet" at breakfast or dinner only includes little to choose of. Poor bread, at least for non-Brits. |

I liked the very warm welcome i got when i first arrived at the hotel.Was very impressed with the room as hotel go i really felt at home and comfortable here. All staff were very friendly during my full stay at the hotel. And best of all it didn't break the bank to stay here. |

Het hotel is gelegen nabij een 'festival terrein' en wordt omgeven door talloze 'vreetschuren' zelden zag ik zoveel personen met overgewicht bijelkaar. Parkeren bij het hotel is gratis. Heb mijn even mijn email bekeken dit kostte 15 pound. Ontbijt was heel goed. De 'dame' die ons moest inchecken was bijzonder bot en kortaf. Alleen al door haar zou ik nooit meer terugkeren naar dit hotel. Kamers kunnen een opknapbeurt gebruiken. |
