Holiday Inn Belfast  

to be honest we were very, very dissapointed about this hotel. location is excellent but the comfort and services were very poor. old designed hotel and definitely not 4 star hotel. we didnt want to have lunch or dinner in hotel couse the food in breakfast were definitely not in good standart. we wont come back here and would not like to recommend to other people, you will realise that the only good thing about this hotel is just location and thats all. there were milion problems - we had to ring to reception to ask fresh towels couse for first time in our expierence housekeeping didnt tidy up our room for some reason when we were out in town all day, then in next morning housekeeping were checking rooms at 9 o clock in the morning, i dont know why, but they opened our room twice, we definitely didnt feel comfortable in this hotel.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and well laid out. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the Spirit fitness suite has definately raised the bar in this field. I will continue to look for superb deals like this in the future.

There is nothing I could say I didnt like, I had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon.

Liked the location of the hotel as it was minutes walk from the city centre, did not use my car all weekend once we arrived at the hotel which I found excellent.. Staff were pleasent also and the room was very clean and brilliant air condition also. Was quiet and nice and relaxin atmosphere. Would recommend it to family and friends to stay at holiday inn belfast.

Had on the website through booking.com a few things that we did not get in our hotel room nothing major but false advertising of the room by not including them in the room.. Its the only down side I had about the stay and using booking.com

I really appreciated the help and friendliness of the staff there and the fact I could leave my luggage safely with them on the first day of my stay as I arrived early before my room was ready, and the last day when I was departing Belfast late in the afternoon. Everyone was excellent in undertaking their duties and the room was fine for purpose.

No free wifi. The computer downstairs was rarely working and way out of date No safe in the room When asking about having our room cleaned at 3.15 pm we where told " when we get to it" Staff generally not we trained or informed It is not 4 star in my opinion

Central location with lots of bars next door. Good hotel chain.

Choice for breakfast buffet a bit too limited. It is all about the typical English breakfast. I found the scrambled eggs far too fatty. Not acceptable to be served scrambled eggs from powdered eggs!

Wireless internet is not free. In 2012, and with the fierce competition among hotels, this is quite anachronistic - and annoying. No converter plug available for electronic equipment. During our 3 nights in Ireland/Northern Ireland, all other hotels had this for us. The Holiday in staff said they had several but they were all out, being used by other guests - nonsense. Or if true, they simply should have more.

The main reason for booking the Holiday Inn was because of the pool facilities. These were excellent and very clean. The restaurant and bar were very good and the room was comfortable and spotless.

Great location with only a 5 minute walk to the city center,my wife and I were in belfast for a music concert and the venue was just across the road.We found the holiday inn great value,with clean fresh rooms and would have no problem staying again

Liked the spa facilities.

No parking facilities, even for disabled.
