Staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was a great size, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast in the morning was brilliant! So much variety. The location was fantastic, really easy to pop into the cener of town and get lost walking about. Overall- everything we needed for our trip. There was some builidng work going on near/in the hotel. The staff were really nice about it and there wasnt much else they could of done. Didnt disturb us much. Also the view from our room was not the most pleasent but a seriously small nagative on an overall great experience.

Greeting when booking in was only positive. Otherwise awful. Due to a very drunk and rowdy wedding party we were kept awake all night. Fighting and screaming in corridors constantly. Breakfast poor. Only offered coffee once. Glasses and cups and milk jugs dirty. Floor disgusting. Continental food offered poorly stocked and not fresh. When checking out never asked how are stay was. Window lock in room broken. Shower curtain musty and showing black spots. No free shower cap. Complimentary tea and coffee poorly stocked. Other families staying seemed to be moved to other rooms due to wedding party disturbance. Will not stay there again. I made the mistake of leaving my laptop and briefcase behind in the room. I had to call them 6 hours after checking out to enquire about it to be told housekeeping might have it but call back tomorrow as they have one home ! After complaining it was located so I could collect it. Do not stay here. Recommend alternatives - even the Premier Inns in Belfast are better. Everything about it!

The holiday inn is a conveniently located hotel near Great Victoria Street Railway Station. Although it is only about 7 minutes walk to the centre of Belfast, its location is quiet during the night. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast had plenty of variety and was good. The staff were very friendly. There was a foul smell from the showers in the leisure facility in the hotel. This was rather offputting when going down for a steam or a swim. I have noticed this on every occasion that I stayed at the hotel.

Location, the only positive things. if hotel would be 3 star rated i wouldnt mind and would rate it positively .. I presume there are another places in Belfast to stay per night. not 4 star hotel..i would rate max with 3 stars. not clean room, we would lipstick on the floor. not a value for a money. reception stuff wasnt knowledgeable about hotel services. in hotel description was mentioned that hair dryer is included.. but it wasnt , which was an issue for us (females)
