Well run

we booked a non-smoking room and arrived to find all non-smoking rooms occupied. We could only use a smoking room. Hotel reception said that they only received confirmation of our booking some 4 hours after it was made on-line.

The room was not serviced at all throughout my stay, I had to get my own tea and change of towels from the room staff.

Fabulous breakfast & quiet at night.

More staff on reception at peak booking in & check out times - we stood for quite some time to register.

Good location. Rooms were basic, but comfortable and quiet. Price was reasonable.

The accents of some reception staff were a bit difficult to penetrate. They might be trained to be more attentive, and to speak more clearly and slowly. The TV in the bed room was ancient, and there was electrical interference on all channels. There was no broadband available and I went to another hotel to use my laptop. The car parking arrangements could be a lot better, and proved expensive.

The hotel was clean and convenient to a nice part of Belfast. .I hate these fresh -air devices that release a strong smelling fragrance leaving one gasping for breath...I do hope the Holiday Inn Group wont feel the need for these

They let me have a late (1pm) check out. Also very friendly staff.

My room key expired at 12 noon even though I had already arranged a 1 pm check out.
