It's a comfortable hotel but let down by uninterested, bored looking staff. Wouldn't it be good for once, just for once, that the staff looked as if they actually wanted to be there, give a s**t about their guests and were actually NICE? Is that too much to ask? This is the third and last time I'll stay there as feel that I'm offending the staff by my very presence- at least the Travelodge staff can force a smile!!!!!

Cost effective, when taking into consideration , payments for kennels , food and diesel , as travelling from Orpington in Kent , to visit relatives in Bolton. Was value for money, a smoking room , as requested, for £125 for three nights ! The staff are always helpful and friendly. Any problem is always sorted promptly even when they are busy dealing with a lot of clients. We like this hotel !!! Convenient , reasonably priced and friendly staff ! Nothing really. Room was value for money for location and our needs , we had a lot of relatives to visit and just needed a reasonable priced hotel to sleep . .

Nothing The reception staff were rude, failed to confirm we were on room only and only discovered this at breakfast. The cost of breakfast compared to the hotel was very expensive. The bed was broke, only one receptionist/porter/office person on a saturday late afternoon so long delays. Not really a very nice stay, wont be doing it again.

the locality to the town center and the price was very resonable lady on check in desk - no welcome, no advice regarding breakfast. eg times and cost plug on bath - unattached to chain which was there, also had a white garden tie on plug in room phone - did not work - bits missing - no ring tone at all - and yes i did check it was plugged in these are just both down to laziness.

all the staff are so so friendly. from receptionists to housekeeping staff. all give you a warm welcome weather it be a smile, a good morning or a quick chat. the receptionists cant do enough for you and any slight thing you are not happy with they will do there upmost to sort it for you. very friendly happy girls. the night porters make you feel safe as they are always about during the night doing one thing or another, but always got an eye on the reception and comings and goings. they too are very helpful and chatty and polite. house keeping staff never make you fee like you have to rush when packing to check out they too always pass the time of day with you, and do an excellent job of keeping the rooms clean. one or two are dated but they are as clean as anyone could get them. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK PEOPLE YOU ARE ALL A CREDIT TO BRITANNIA HOTELS. t a couple of the room I have stayed in have been quite cold but extra blankets are easy available. I work from my hotels a lot so Wi-Fi is a biggie with me. in the public areas I cant concentrate and there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. last thing bad reception on the televisions are poor and not a good selection of channels ie radio an music. but im nit picking cause nothing major to complain about, excellent value for money even with my minor quibbles

Very clean! Well impressed with that. Food good. Bar staff friendly. The receptionists weren't very friendly - although I didn't find them rude.

A pleasant location, easy to find with good parking. As we were attending a funeral we didn't use any of the facilities so it would be unfair to offer an opinion. However, the staff were very helpful. The room was tired and needed updating. There was no remote control for operating the TV.

The hotel was incredible value for money. I paid £35 for a double through booking.com and for that price I think the hotel was excellent, I've paid a lot more for a lot less in the past. The exterior of the hotel is desperately in need of a facelift! From the outside it looks like a drab 60's building with no real style. However they have spent money on the inside and walking through the door is a pleasant surprise after the first impression from the outside.

The accommodation and bathroom were clean and obviously well serviced. The bed was comfortable. My only issue was the poor TV sound made it unpleasant to use.

I think the convenience of location for my business was good. I think the freindliness of the breakfast chef was excellent. I think the hotel is in need of some tender loving care.
