It was very friendly, welcoming and the staff were very helpful. Ideally situated for the purpose of our visit, quiet yet on the outskirts of the town which was easily accessible by car and on foot. The room was very comfortable, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other people.

The hotel was relaxing with a good ambience. The desk staff were polite and friendly and the girl who was working on the bar during our stay was excellent, being polite and courteous whilst under pressure and remaining cheerful throughout.

You get what you pay for with the Britannia. It is clean and if you're looking for somewhere to lay your head and nothing else then it's perfect. They also have smoking rooms which is great if you're a smoker Some staff are rude.

Convenient, value for money. Would use again. I couldnt cool off my room although the weather was cold, i was told when leaving that air conditioning was available in the room which i thought was a heater. Also the bar closed at 11.55pm but could have continued serving and booked to my room IF i had a credit card, i only had a debit card which was not acceptable.

The room heating did not work at a time when the temperature was below freezing. We were forced to wear our coats whilst in the room. The basin drained only very slowly. There was a broken table in the room

I liked the location and access to mWay system The lack of friendliness of reception staff on arrival, the lack of disabled parking opposite main entrance, both myself and my wife are disabled. Distance of our room (on the first floor) from entrance. The lift call button on 1st floor was virtually inoperable due to being pushed through fixing plate.
