No wifi in rooms! It's the 21st century!!
The staff were not welcoming or even friendly
Thge location is great for me as my Mum lives near there.
Hotel was easy to access, Did not know what to expect but arrived and was pleasantly surprised.
Only thing that let the room down was the paint job. If this was upto scratch everything would have been perfect.
Problem with shower
Not really anthing. Doubt whether i would stay again.
A very tired hotel that need some attention to decor and cleanliness. Food was well below average.
Noise from other rooms
Friendly staff, great breakfast.
Lack of WiFi in the room
Cheap and well placed.
Freezing cold room; the heating didn't work. Leaking window which dripped all night.
Good location. Staff efficient. Well lit car park. Excellent instructions about how to control water temperature. Excellent value. Quiet location.
My room, looked clean, clean towels, bedding etc. But the whole room smelt of smoke. Even my nightwear smelt of smoke after sleeping in the bed. Probably just unfortunate. Wouldn't put me off staying there again
location was easy enough to find car parking ample
tired decor , very dated facilities, cold room radiator not working, £12.95 per person for breakfast bit of a rip off
The toilet had urine on floor behind door and up wall and on back of toilet bowl and poo on side of toilet bowl. Carpet was very stained.
I like the fact its remote yet has a bar / relaxing area
Bed again was awful. Price was not worth it. It used to be 25 a night and that was the most that should be paid. Bathroom had bugs crawling around. Bed mattress was one of the worst I've slept on. I've had good rooms in the past but certain rooms I've had to complain about. I didn't have time to complain in the morning this time but room 31 was discusting. I haven't stayed in a roughly 8 months and now I know why.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Staff are attentive
Hotel is tired and needs a refurb. The Hotel is an ex Holiday Inn. Breakfast was passable.
Nothing, did not stop came home after the wedding we were at. Down stairs was clean and covetable.
The bed was like a camp bed with one squashed pillar.
Whole ambience of the hotel. Well laid out. The restaurant and bar are cheerful, warm and inviting.
The beds were really comfortale.. Good ambience and good staff... Located a bit far from Bolton station which is a downside when travelling late into night....
A bit disappointed that the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned.....
Everything! Bloody on curtains, hair on floor, dirty windows, stains on back of bathroom door, ripped bedding. Awful food. Ironing board had no cover. Just plain dreadful. Complained and cancelled stay for the 2nd and 3rd night. No appology!
Decor was nice. Staff very pleasant
Room was cold. Water was like warm
Prompt actions to requests
Getting about town/city was a bit stressful. Long walks to the nearest bus stop.
The guy at the reception wasnt very helpfull, he was kinda racist i booked a double room and there was 3 rooms available. I turned up with hubby to check in i gave my name my reservation code etc he took his time looking it up kept making a wierd face an said errm sorry all double rooms are booked i thought i dont think so i booked it well in advance he still took time looking at the system after abit he goes heres your key i even booked it upper storey yet he gave the 1st floor the room was ok till i checked the toilet it hadnt been cleaned stains around its horrible the fan wasnt even working. Anyways the checking out time was 11am of the staff decided to knock on at 7:30am and 9am it wasnt even room service just reminding times up wow. Never again i have booked hotel rooms this month 6 times had no issues and i mean luxury spa hotels didnt really expect that from this hotel.
Room was big and clean, bed very comfortable, shower very powerful. staff very helpfull.
Nothing, except we thought the breakfast was over priced, unlike meals which were good prices, therefore we had breakfast elsewhere.
Good food selection in bar Quiet hotel
No WiFi in room
