Breakfast was lovely
Staff on arrival very poor, think name was Drew! Room very poor, pillows worst ever smallest double bed! Room felt grimey!
The location by the sea front was ideal.
The Wifi ws jammed
Rooms were comfy; hotel was well located with everything close-by!
Car-parking was difficult and too expensive.
Position, breakfast was good.
Grubby, 60's looking, had its day - needs a lot of work.
Excellent location on seafront. Helpful and accommodating staff who moved us to a quieter room promptly because of noise from hen party. Clean comfortable room. Very good breakfast. Parking on site.
No outside terrace seating available despite sunny weather.
size of room , comfort , sea view
The Hotel is in a good location.
The cooked breakfast, tea and coffee were of poor quality and not worth the money we paid. The room, although large and reasonably clean, was tired and dated. The balcony furniture did not match and was rusty.
The reception staff were very pleasant.
very disappointed with the room. carpet was stained. The tv unit cabinet had very deep scratches over it. The outside balcony wall was covered in green mould and the table and chairs looked dirty and rusty. Also we were not happy about the fact there were decorators right outside our room .
Staff were fantastic and very helpful Food was very nice although thought that a specials board or a bit more choice on evening menu would have been good.
bed was very uncomfortable too hard for me anyway.would not have stood more than 2nights air condtioning in room was not very good could not access wifi and did not have very good mobile coverage also I think car parking is expensive
The staff were so polite and couldn't be more helpful
The bath mat was mouldy and there were hairs round the bath tub. Both net curtains and duvet cover were ripped and one of the plug sockets just didn't work. It was my first night away in a hotel for my birthday and as a person with OCD I was disappointed In the standard of cleaning.
bathroom toilet could be a bit cleaner. quite expensive too
The location was good with bars and shops close by, and only a few minutes walk to the town. The staff were very helpful and polite
The first room we were offered had an unacceptable bathroom, with a cracked sink and a stained bath, however we were offered another room immediately which was of an acceptable standard, although a little jaded. However, the hotel is currently undergoing re-furbishment, which didn't affect us at all, there are just signs apologising for any inconvenience, which we never experienced anyway
Pleasant staff who provided a friendly service despite being overworked.
Whole place needs an overhaul. Broken, grubby furniture in room. Fridge didn't work, safe broken, grotty bathroom. Breakfast quality poor (so gave up and ate elsewhere). Rooms were never cleaned unless we asked reception.
Location was great as we were there to see a show at the Brighton centre, staff were fantastic.
We had a second floor room and there was noise from the outside, the bathroom needed total revamping
Location is good
In adequate staff at all levels 1 star level hotel!!!!!
Fantastic duty manager got us checked in and appologiesed continously for all the rudeness that was received by other members of staff
When i arrived at the hotel with my husband. I told the receptionist i had an early check (11-12) i was told that my room was still occupied and that the cleaners couldnt put my room on priority because people were still checking out and that nothing could be done till at least 3pm. i appreciate that as it was a bank holiday weekend and was fully booked things take time but surely a selection of room that have an earlier check in are kept to the side to save hassel.
It's getting a little bit tired looking.
the room size is so large
no sea view, booking was for my husband's birthday and our anniversary and despite putting this on booking no extras received. bar prices were expensive and food menu was limited
Its very simple hotel .
Bar, spacious room clean
Dinner not served at 9pm
It was a delicious morning breakfast with a sea view
It's location to the sea and town centre
Nice hotel. Clean, tidy, good location
Hotel reception staff seemed a bit disinterested. Clumsy and insincere. The 'double bed' was two singles pushed together. My partner and I cuddled up and slid down between the two beds
