excellent location on seafront and check in quite good and easy The hotel is so tired and old inside. It feels as though it has not been painted etc for a long time. The fabric of the building is terrible and my room looked over the yard at the rear with old barbed wire etc lying in it. The hotel building is tall and I thought the hotel occupied the higher floors, which I like but in fact, it was only on the first 5 floors. Car parking good under hotel but dear £15 for 24 hours. |

I enjoyed fine hospitality and clean facility. In particular, people in charge of front service are incredible. Not ocean but old building I can see there, from the window of my room. |

Nice location and friendly staff. Room a little bit tired and finishing not great eg cracked tiles, worn bath etc but otherwise fine. Would expect better for 115 gbp per night...and breakfast wasnt included and cost an extra 12 gbp per day. |

It was easy to check in and the car park was joined ot the hotel. The room was in dire need of painting and although the decor was modern, the walls were filthy, the bathroom very basic, the ironing board dirty with holes, a quilt had been thrown in the wardrobe which made it feel worse, the pillows were thin and hard and the carpet was not clean. If I had been paying the full amount to stay, I would have felt complained. But even at £123, I felt short-changed |

Reception staff very helpful and very friendly was most impressed by staff at breakfast on second day actually asked if we had stayed before and then proceeded to explain how everything works - excellent Cuboard doors in room were stiff and hard to open made a lot of noise opening and shutting them - Order breakfast in the room first day due to husband having an early appointment that morning - breakfast turned up over 30 min late also did not receive a full continental breakfast. |

The location was excellent This was certainly not 4* accomodation as the hotel throughout was very dated. I would recommend this hotel on location grounds only. |

The receptionist ( dark hair , European) who checked us in and out was a great advert for the hotel , professional and very friendly , nothing was too much trouble for her . We were very impressed . It looks like a multi-storey carpark from the outside . Painting the concrete would make a huge difference |
