This private hotel with a peaceful countryside setting is just outside Flint, by Flint Mountain. It has a picturesque 12-hole golf course and a Thai restaurant.

Easy to find and such easy access from A55. Nice restaurant and other eating at services. No fuel at this time, though one is being built. Sadly "no fuel" warning signs not given soon enough to top up beforehand .Excellent hotel - would definitely recommend.
Very welcoming staff, room - clean, comfortable with good facilities. Easy to reach from A55. Breakfast very good, large selection to choose from, self service cooked option. Staff helpful and polite.
Unfortunately my stay (Friday night) coincided with a 2 large parties so restaurant was especially busy with a long wait, however there are other eating places at the location.
everything would love to stay again thumbs up staff where very helpful and all friendly x
lack of lighting in car park
Nice big room, lots of electrical sockets. Good food although the chef could splash the cream about in his sauces a bit more! Would be nice to have two menus that could be alternated every other day perhaps. The staff take the trouble to get to know their guests, are very obliging and acknowledge them whenever they meet them.Good value for the money.
cramped loo! The lighting wasn't very good in the room for putting on my make up and doing my hair.Suprised the chef uses "bought" mayonaise & doesn't make his own, the bought variety is a little too vinigary for my taste. Not enough Disabled car parking, a large car park but only 2 Disabled parking bays.
I should have printed directions as I had believed it to be closer to Chester
Location en-route to Holyhead from Grimsby
Meal prices were a tad on the heavy side
The breakfast was very good.
The receptionists were not so nice, especially in the night shift. I did not get any invoice or receive when I left.
Nothing positive to stay.
There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. the iron in the room didn't work. The noise was horrendous all night and had a very poor nights sleep.
you have great beds.very clean'B/fast was so good I would stay again
could do with a refresh curtains and carpets looked well worn and our windows where old do these jobs and its perfect
The wi if was pretty good
No seating in bar area as taken over with guests to a wedding. When we did get a seat there were glasses left on the tables from guests at the wedding, they were left so the guests could come back and get them!!! The bed was really low and uncomfortable.
Very good facilities in bathroom, good dressing table with mirror not too high, tea/coffee available in room, comfortable sofa for two people in room.
No dislikes apart from only food shops & restaurants in area as just off motorway, but as visiting family nearby, did not affect us.
Breakfast excellent Staff very helpful
Bed too small for a double Room too hot
The food was excellent so we ate there the 3 nights we stayed, the room was large and comfortable and the staff were very friendly
The was a generator outside our bedroom window.
Hotel was hard to get to from opposite side of roadway. Had to circle back at exits that were difficult to figure out. We were in two rooms over a four day period. The bed in our second room was very soft and uncomfortable.
I booked last minute as I work away from home a colleague who I have not seen in a while visited,we missed the restaurant but the staff at the bar where really helpful and made us sandwiches. The breakfast was as you would expect and the service quick and cheerful
Everything was superb...The staff were exceptional nothing to much trouble
The only problem we had was the sat navigation couldn't find you...The road you turn off doesn't have a name
very friendly staff, rooms clean comfy beds and good food,,a good base to visit Chester and North Wales
Good sized room, good food, friendly staff.
We stayed in a ground floor room, the floor boards in the room above were all noisy and you could hear every footstep and where that step was.
Stale smell in the room
Charged £10 more than quote from Booking.com. I have now been asked to prove what I was charged!
The staff were friendly, the room size was more than adequate and the restaurant meal was tasty, of a good quality and a fair sized portion. The restaurant was good value for money and we enjoyed our meal there. We liked the fact that there was a fridge in the room too.
We felt that the decor was quite dated. We have stayed in quite a few Premier Inn's and we all said that they felt more up to date and had much better beds. There was also a strange smell around the ground floor lobby - not quite a damp smell but in the region. It didn't appear on the other floors.
food poor and expensive
Everything about the hotel was great. The room had everything we needed and was very clean and modern.
Being so close to the busy road did make it a little noisy. Maybe next time we would request a room at the back of the hotel further away from the traffic.
Room was very pleasant, comfortable bed and welcoming, with all the necessary facilities. Good Parking. Over all, very satisfactory and well situated for visiting North Wales and Chester
Was a bit difficult to exit A55 to the correct access road. Too many confusing signs. Exit point could be more clearly made.
