only one comment did not have heinz beans,wich are gluten free as my wife is gluten intollerent,sadley we find that a lot of hotels /resteraunts do not provide gluten / wheat free food. do booking .com inquire if all listyed hotels provide gluten free /wheat free food

Room large and comfortable with all the usual accoutrements.

There were a number of problems which were unresolved and although I requested management to contact me, I have heard nothing.

When I arrived to check in I was told that there were no twin/double rooms left so they gave me a suite and I had to pay another £10.00 despite having booked and prepaid for the room several weeks earlier. It was not my fault that they had overbooked. The receptionist was very hard nosed and would not budge. If I hadn,t paid the extra then my young daughter and I would not have had anywhere to stay. I will not be staying at the Holiday Inn Corby Kettering again. Elaine Richards

Friendly staff. Easy to get too. Parking good. Cleanliness of hotel

We were positioned next to the lift and unfortunately it kept us awake for most of the night together with some drunken men having a row outside the front door in the early hours of the morning. We came for my daughter to play tennis all the next day and for us to have a good nights sleep. This did not happen and we were both tired by the end of the day and then having to drive back home (2.15hrs).

Xmas party was happening and the music was rather too loud for any guest not involved!

Food for the evening meal in the restgurant was very poor value. Breakfast was ok,

The hotel was nice and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, however the bedside lights didn't work so maybe staff should check them regularly.

The weekend package of £33 per night was very attractive and included free access to the gym, sauna, steam room and pool. The room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The hotel itself was comfortably warm and had an inviting, comfortable foyer in which to entertain friends and guests. The hotel was central to Corby and all surrounding areas of interest. The staff were attentive and helpful. Excellent parking facilities.

The room requires some cosmetic refurbishment to the hairline cracks in the ceilings of the bedroom and bathroom of the room I stayed in. Some of the carpeted areas, especially the stairs, are showing signs of wear. If I was paying full price I would certainly not be happy with this. Although the gym area etc. was well presented, the grouting between the tiles in the steam room require cleaning.

Good location and price for our requirements

Tired furniture and worn carpets. Nice hotel but could do with some interior work to tidy up.
