Score from 80 reviews Very good
The accommodation was very good and well laid out.
The restaurant prices were high. While in the restaurant some of the customers at the bar were noisy and language was unacceptable.
The staff on entering were friendly and approachable with the check in services easy with a very simple form. The room itself was fairly clean and tidy and a good bathroom and brilliant shower. the breakfast buffet was very good and again the staff seen to me reasonably quickly when seating (have to wait before going in). overall good hotel with friendly staff.
although the room was clean and tidy it did need a thorough make over, the floor boards as soon as you walk in creaked and groaned which was really annoying! the furniture looked about my age and very well worn, with previous reviews also state the hotel needs a make over. overall the price and the room type did not live up to the expectations of a 4 star hotel.
Waited 20 minutes to get morning coffee at breakfast table. Food at breakfast was overcooked and spent too long under heat lamps. Restaurant staff not very attentive and had to be found before anything was served.
Dinner ok, breakfast ok!
room was freezing! Heating didn't work! Offered a fan heater! But being an Asthma sufferer this was not an an option! Never staying here again when up on business!
leisure facilities/ breakfast
squeaky floorboards/ £4 per drink/ dated decor
hotel was great - good facilities, comforatble room, clean. Food was decent, reception team very good. Gym and pool facilities excellent for a hotel of this size.
gym staff in evening were not that friendly, bartender was also a bit stand-offish, but tbh neither to any degree that would ruin your stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Require more fitness facilities not just for building upper body.
One or more shops or minimarkets to buy what we may need
Being in isolated area ,,compared with Holyday Inn wimpeldon London that was well surved by nearby supermarkets e.g Sainsbury
I requested them before going that i need halal food but there was no arrangement .and i was going vart far by taking taxi for food..abd there us no aby markut near by..
I didnt like their food.
I like the receptionists and the location
Old furniture Room is hot at night Wi fi signle is extremely week Rustrant is not that good
Staff are friendly and helpful
The shower cord are so dirty as in black near the tap.i thought it's just a stain then I touch it it sleepery and it comes off.but a lot of them.
Very courteous staff, excellent restaurant, spacious room, air conditioning, good 3G reception, comfy bed. Breakfast was also very good, plenty of choice, good quality produce
Room was starting to look a little tired, in particular the bathroom that was quite a miserable place to be with gloomy faux marble tiles and tired paintwork and fittings. Parking was a bit odd, quite fragmented and shared with patrons of the adjacent leisure centre/gym.
The welcome The staff and service The selection of room to suit our needs The breakfast
At night some machinery noises
Friendly helpful efficient staff Good quality food Ample parking
Inconsiderate parking by visitors to the Fitness Centre who park in disabled spaces and on double yellow lines. Staff should police this! Some of the furniture is tired and needs refurbishment.
Loved the pool area. The breakfast was very nice. Only there for one night and had to leave early but could have spent a lot more time in the comfortable lounges & the pool/gym area.
We chose to take the bus into Glasgow City Centre to save the hassle of parking etc. This was not a great idea as the bus service was infrequent and slow on a Saturday.
Evening meal we ordered in the restaurant was not at all what we considered worth eating!!! Waitresses need to be better trained in their attitudes to travellers!!
The GPS to the Hotel
Thought it was ridiculous that you had to pay more for a decent connection to the internet, every other hotel has this service included free.
Room outdated, not the standard of a 4*. Wifi really slow. Breakfast good but no so much choice compared to Mercure, Novotel...
An amazing experience, the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help with your check-in, meals, and general hospitality. The food is fantastic, fresh and well presented. The room was clean and in very good condition. I would highly recommend staying here. A point here, there isn’t one bad thing I could say about this hotel, and believe me I am picky.
I enjoyed the pool and spa facilities and had a lovely facial between relaxing and swimming. The rooms were large, and the bed was comfortable. Room service was quite fast also. Staff were all helpful and friendly. I stayed for 3 nights and was sad to leave.
Not many appointments available in the spa as it not only just for hotel use, it is a gym for general customers also. If you are just passing through, most appointments are already gone.
Staff were friendly and we got given an executive room which was massive. There was also free water and a very comfortable bed. Great that you don't check out until 12pm.
Breakfast not included as standard and £10 per person is very expensive. You can go and have breakfast elsewhere for much less than this.
leisure center very good
room could have been cleaner shower curtain dirty fridge dirty
Comfortable bed, good food and good location without paying Glasgow prices
every thing cant fault any thing would recommend
