The welcome The staff and service The selection of room to suit our needs The breakfast
At night some machinery noises
Evening meal we ordered in the restaurant was not at all what we considered worth eating!!! Waitresses need to be better trained in their attitudes to travellers!!
Room outdated, not the standard of a 4*. Wifi really slow. Breakfast good but no so much choice compared to Mercure, Novotel...
An amazing experience, the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help with your check-in, meals, and general hospitality. The food is fantastic, fresh and well presented. The room was clean and in very good condition. I would highly recommend staying here. A point here, there isn’t one bad thing I could say about this hotel, and believe me I am picky.
I enjoyed the pool and spa facilities and had a lovely facial between relaxing and swimming. The rooms were large, and the bed was comfortable. Room service was quite fast also. Staff were all helpful and friendly. I stayed for 3 nights and was sad to leave.
Not many appointments available in the spa as it not only just for hotel use, it is a gym for general customers also. If you are just passing through, most appointments are already gone.
Staff were friendly and we got given an executive room which was massive. There was also free water and a very comfortable bed. Great that you don't check out until 12pm.
Breakfast not included as standard and £10 per person is very expensive. You can go and have breakfast elsewhere for much less than this.
leisure center very good
room could have been cleaner shower curtain dirty fridge dirty
Comfortable bed, good food and good location without paying Glasgow prices
every thing cant fault any thing would recommend
Service at breakfast was poor, had to ask for tea then had to ask for milk twice before someone eventually brought it .
staff very helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast, easy access by bus to Glasgow easy 25 minute walk to East Kilbride, shopping and mall
not enough towels, carpet very dirty, room needs upgrading
Convenient to get out and about from hotel and leisure facilities. Staff were welcoming and helpful. A good 3 star experience overall.
Too many groups and functions made bar, breakfast busy and created late night noise at times.
The greeting was great, friendly and Welcoming, the staff could not do enough to help ALL of the customers. The location is great with a fantastic atmosphere. The Staff are great !!!!!
After initially getting into the room, I thought great....and then started to look around.......... the décor of this hotel needs some urgent attention. All area's need some sort of decorating attention......
Staff were mostly friendly
Reception gave us a room that someone was already in so I walked in on a couple getting changed! Given a different card, twin room was all that was left, we paid £180 for that, as the commonwealth games were on hotels rather than helping support a great event they all cashed in and inflated their prices, an event being held certainly doesn't improve the hotel quality it's still the same facilities etc! Also breakfast, hardly any food out, they even ran out of teapots! There were weddings on in the hotel as well as the games and clearly this level of busyness had not been taken into account and the place was extremely understaffed, I don't blame them in any way, there is only so much they can do and were clearly pushed to the limit!
Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Food was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Location near Hampden park
Short staff in the breakfast room . No eggs for 30mins melon finished had to ask for tea three times and when it came we where told there was only one pot available because the tables had not been cleared
Big room, bath robes, bath and shower, check out time of 12 noon
Price too high, no little extras eg biscuits, dripping tap in bathroom, poorly designed toilet roll holder, too close to the lift, no paths in car park, no plug sockets by bed, limited parking
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed & nice quiet room. Good food.
Price. Because going to the Games, price of room was hiked up. Would not normally pay that much for a double room, but obviously we had to have somewhere to stay. Not value for money because of that. Having to queue to get into Breakfast!
The welcome at reception. The helpfulness of the bar staff. The quality of the bar meals.
Tea-making facilities in the room were minimal, worse than a Premier Inn. The breakfast was very poor, with shortages of many items on the menu. Ready-made tea and coffee in large flasks is not what we expect from a 4-star hotel. The gap between what was advertised and what was provided was unacceptable. At £184 a night for a small room, it was poor value for money - Commonwealth Games notwithstanding.
Barman was very good and helpful, Leisure Facilities good
Poor service, Decor very tired. Service at breakfast was poor not enough staff and selection of food at times poor
The staff were friendly. The suite we had was large. The swimming pool was lovely, like taking a bath and great steam room. My daughter enjoyed the Mars Bars left for us.
Room in desperate need of a update with mould around the bath. Only one bathrobe when there were two of us. I understand that the prices were hiked because of the Commonwealth Games, but what I paid for my three nights I still would have expected a little more comfort. The staff at breakfast struggled bless them. Chef ran out of beans one morning and on another I had to wait ages for plates and eventually had to alert a member of staff.
The breakfast was ok but the waitress forgot my husband's coffee and we had to ask someone else.
Paintwork was shabby. The bathroom in our sobs' roomhad a dirty toilet and there was long hair in the pkug hole and on the floor.
Breakfast was very good and plentiful, Swimming pool was very good, reception staff were helpful with information to get into Glasgow.
Booked two executive double rooms nine months prior to arrival, to find on arrival at hotel that these were standard double rooms. The price was reduced by a small amount and I was promised the executive packs for the rooms,ie Slippers , bottled water and orange Tec, which did not happen. The rooms were also very dusty around the light fitting and a cigarette butt was found on the tv unit. I believe that these rooms were over priced due to the commonwealth games being on. The reception staff blamed booking.com for room errors
Nice staff, reasonable price during the commonwealth games on Glasgow, and great access toain roads. Room was comfortable size with bath and shower. Decent breakfast.
Hotel is very worn. Thread bare chairs in lounge, not kept clean in public areas during the day, and very tight parking.
