What can I say , myself and my wife were visiting friends and decided that this was going to be the best location for us . I have stayed at holiday inns before and this hotel was no exception to the excellent staff and facilities offered by the the hotel group . Excellent staff, Excellent Spa , Excellent Breakfast and all for £75 and night For two of us !!! They might aswell have paid me to stay there it was such great value for money !! Allround super stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to glasgow who does does not want to pay the inner city prices . We had an excellent stay , we will be staying there again when we visit friends again.Well done Holiday inn team .

It was convenient to where we wanted to be. It was no more than an £8 taxi fare to excellent restaurants in the Village in East Kilbride. Your receptionist Vicky was an extremely hard working and very pleasant person. She did her utmost to help and I can guarantee she is worth at least double the salary you pay her. I saw her handling a large queue of new arrivals entirely on her own with skill, and good humour. Excellent breakfast with extremely helpful staff. The room had one of the smallest double beds I have had the misfortune to sleep in - or try to. We did book a room with twin beds but that seemed to be unavailable when we arrived at the hotel. The room was as basic as it could be with a tv enclosed in a cabinet - how old is that! The entrance to the hotel is via a narrow alley and it is embarrassing to have to stop to offload luggage and have cars piling up behind - a very bad design. Bath taps and grouting in bathroom require a deep clean or regrouted. Non smoking rooms were like hens' teeth but we did eventually get one.

The gym / spa area is fantastic; I was able to join in on a aqua aerobics class which I enjoyed. Steam room & jacuzzi were great for relaxing after that! The food in the restaurant was terrible. I'm not at all a fussy eater but didn't enjoy the starter and main course at all. There was just no taste to it. I also don't mind paying for good food, but this was more like Wetherspoons standard (maybe worse) at ridiculous prices. For example, I got a little jar of pepper sauce with my steak - the sauch amounted to about 3 tablespoons and cost £3.25! Such a shame as I would stay in the hotel again, but would never eat there again.

Everyone so lovely & helpful , rooms were clean & spacious . Huge choice of well cooked food for breakfast. We had a birthday function in the hotel for family & friends & it was perfect.

Despite early booking I was offered a smokers room on arrival and offered no alternative. The room was bad and only on serios complaint at the main desk did they bother to find an alternative. The check-in prceedures need to be re-thought and the staffs attitude changed. The experience was not good

I requested a non-smoking room but was put in a smoking room and it stunk , I complained and was offered a upgraded room but at the extra cost of £10 a day.Extremly friendly staff and well maintained rooms , would use the hotel again.

The spa centre was excellent, free of charge and had a good sized pool with sauna, steam and jacuzzi, plus several gymns with all known machinery. The breakfast was available for several hours and just as good and fresh at 10:00 am. Surprised they allowed smoking in some rooms, even the corridor smelt awful on the first floor. They also had a cocktail menu but couldn't make any of the gin based cocktails as they didn't have the appropriate gin. However, the cocktails we selected were good.

The restaurant menu choices were varied and I was made to feel comfortable and valued whilst eating. The service was very good in all aspects of the hotel. Other guests not being able to grasp the concept that you can close hotel bedroom doors quietly.
