Fantastic view over edinburgh city, able to see the entire way out to Edinburgh castle. The staff were all polite and friendly the food was ok although a tiny bit pricy for what it was. No complaints at all as I had a wonderfull experience.

Very confortable bed, fantastic shower, friendly members of staff. I paid an expensive price for a gourmet burger which was burned, there was an issue with room service as well (3 pounds everytime someone come to your room is quite too much). Apart of these minor issues it it a great place to stay.

Proximity to Murrayfield Stadium. Within Walking distance 25-30 mins. The shower was pretty poor, but good enough to do its job !

The relaxed atmosphere.The service was good and the staff friendly.The food was good and value for money. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. We ordered a taxi via the customer service desk which turned up in 2 mins each time.Craig also rang the Edinburgh Playhouse for us and arranged our tickets for us. nothing was too much trouble.On our last morning we were awakened by the fire alarm and had to be evacuated. Being on the top floor we hurriedly dressed and got downstairs to be greeted by firemen! It wasnt a drill but everyone got out in 2 mins!The toaster had set on fire and caused the alarm trigger but everyone was grateful to get back to their room.We had a room with castle view which was amazing.We completed a priority booking card and got 10% off food n drink purchased in hotel and received free newspaper daily. The steps to ground floor are concrete and not covered.Not a fan of lifts I used the steps daily and thought they were quite dangerous.Some are different depths which caused me to stumble each day.The bathroom fittings not secure and bath panel loose.Room 618.

The staff were very helpful and friendly Location was further out from the city centre than expected and the sandwich I had in the bar was a bit like old fashioned British Rail fare by far more expensive.

Très bel hôtel, superbe vue (hôtel à plusieurs étages et demander une vue côté château et mer), très bien situé (arrêt de bus au pied de l'hôtel), accueil très sympathique. Un tout petit peu bruyant car il donne sur une grosse avenue.

Il bouffet della colazione era molto vario e molto curato (comprendeva un vero full scottish breakfast e non la sua versione turistica!). Lo staff si è mostrato gentile e mai invadente.

Great location - bus right outside hotel into city centre. No one told us to book breakfast the day before, as if you don't you have to pay more - £13 each instead of £9 if you pre-booked a table - it was only a buffet breakfast, so a bit expensive!
