clean friendly good food. 5star service by staff. reasonably priced for such high quality

Warm welcome. Comfortable and clean stay. Good experience. Lovely breakfast

Booked twin room with lady friend, allocated room with double bed. Problem resolved quickly by apologetic staff, new room allocated. No lift found, problem for older folk with luggage, no offer to help carry luggage to room.

Price and location

The bar area was to small, no incentive to stay in the hotel in the evening

Very much enjoyed breakfast as it was freshly cooked for us.

The room too cold. Shower difficult to regulate

not a lot, was thinking about another night before I got there but 1 night was enough.

Noisy, on the main A1 poor TV reception no water pressure for the shower getting very tired.

Kept the exit to car park clear to get out as it was snowing my car not good in the snow.

I was given room, when looking round I was shocked had no sink only pipe work. Of course I went back to reception told member staff, who looked at her list said are sure as its not on her list. I looked round said am I being framed. Then she look again said oh yes it under maintance. Next room smelt bit damp.

Breakfast was very nice, bed was comfy. Much to what you expect from a holiday inn

Rooms were a little dated, bathroom tiles were rocking in at least 4 places - could be very dangerous. Bathroom also had mould around the bath, not very inviting! Shower was very weak and kept going cold. Wifi is a complete rip off at £12 being the cheapest option for 24 hours - which I needed for business use

Leaving, I would have checked out after the 1st night but the room was paid in advance.

reception on arrival, flustered worn receptionist , had to wait. He was more interested in telling the incoming waiter he had complaints. Bar, stuffy hot, cramped. Restaurant, cold uninviting, st\ff who seemed to prefer to chat at the reception instead of checking diners, ordered a bottle of red wine and water but the water never arrived. Food not very well cooked, veg over done, blue steak over done after a long conversation on how it should be cooked. Belly of pork, bad cut, should have been named pork scratching s.....6-8 mm of meat on it. Meals were top prices for poor quality ingredients.

The rooms were comfortable and had everything you needed for a nights stay.

Staff were not very helpful and the room service food and breakfast was disgusting

Efficient service and very well placed on the A1 for onward travel

Plenty of facilities in the room and lots of parking. The breakfast had plenty of choice and the cooked part wad hot and tastey. Room was clean and bathroom was very big with a perfect shower.

Bed was very soft as in your sink when laying on in, wouldn't be good ont he back after a long stay. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the rooms either side and across the hall, this might have been a person having a very bad and loud cough but i could hear it very clearly.

The proximity to our destination. Easy to check in and out.

Easy to find, close to where we were working and easy to walk into Sandy to get some food, although crossing the busy raod to get to the town and back was entertaining!

The busy road A! on the doorstepwas noisy and therefore you could not open the windows. Not a lot they can do about that as it is the price you pay for easy access!

Was surprised to see staff turning a blind eye to hookers operating within the hotel

Easy to find, clean, functional, efficient, friendly staff and rooms were well equipped and everything worked.

Traffic noise

Very clean and comfortable and ideally situated for our visit to family and easy driving for day trip to London and other places.

For what we needed we couldnt find anything to dislike.

Parking. Not a bad location.

Staff were not informative,were unfriendly . Did not smile! Equipment broke down so did not receive receipt! Limited TV channels did not even have freeview channels!
