Spotless, contemporary bathroom. Location near to excellent shopping, Concert Hall, cinemas. Food available as well as room service. Helpful in letting us leave our luggage until the afternoon. Later checkout. Twin room a bit small. Looked as if it was normally used as a single. Beds very soft but having said that quite comfortable to sleep in.

Excellent location for Concert Hall and shopping.Nice and clean.Kettle and ironing board in room.Good price for city centre. Beds are a bit on the short side. Rooms are quite small but perfect if all you need is a bed for the night.

Choice of pillows was a very good idea. Nice sofa and table to relax at The double bed was too small - it should be a king size NOT a small 4ft double. Windows in Room 304 need net curtains as very overlooked by the Daily Herald offices. Lack of shower gel/soap for bath area - only fixed in hand wash at sink

Friendly staff and comfortable bar area. Cleanliness of rooms and corridors The room was far smaller than we were expecting, and although we ordered twin beds, it was almost a double room, as the beds were so close

Ideal location for bus station and shopping. Very good restaurant adjoining where we had an excellent meal at night. Room 427 was very noisy from outside traffic and people shouting. Was ok while tv was on.

The bed was extremly comfortable and the room was clean. I had asked for an accessible shower and was provided with one. The breakfast was not included and I thought the price to add the breakfast (£27) for 2 people was excesssive. There was no free wifi! I would think by now this would be a given in any decent hotel.

Very friendly staff and great location, breakfast very good. Wi-Fi access very poor paid for 24 hours and i could not detect the wi-fi on either my iphone or ipad so wasted money. Also would not stay again until the windows improved as i got very little sleep due to street noise my friends in the 2 other rooms i paid for found the same, great food friendly staff but no chance of sleeping due to noise.

location of the hotel very close to the shops,cinema&bus station.Room was very clean,cosy and tastefully decorated. can be very noisy especialy friday&saturday night from those passing by outside possibly on way to the bus.the fire alarm went of both mornings saturday morning at 8am&we were told it was a fault went of at 9am sunday but were never told why.Restaurant expensive look for 2 course deal.

location The room resembled a nursing home room. The furnishings were circa 1980's often reused and heavily marked. This was room lacking any attracive features. It certaily was not worth £115 per night. In addition when we werein bar, the coffee machine was "off"
