Crowne Plaza London Kensington100 Cromwell Road, Kensington and Chelsea, London, SW7 4ER (Show map)
Very good,
Score from 89 reviews
“ The location of the hotel was super; walking distance to Hyde Park or Harrod's, direct tube to Leicester Square for shows or Heathrow for flights. The food in Umami was excellent. The hotel was very clean but also had enough luxury about it to merit its 4 stars. The lobby and bar area was lovely. ”

The location of the hotel was super; walking distance to Hyde Park or Harrod's, direct tube to Leicester Square for shows or Heathrow for flights. The food in Umami was excellent. The hotel was very clean but also had enough luxury about it to merit its 4 stars. The lobby and bar area was lovely. We were a party of 7 ladies and we had 4 rooms with two double beds in each; very comfortable beds. The service was great with bar staff organising food for us at 10.30pm after show. The alcohol was a bit on the expensive side but perhaps that's standard for Kensington.

tube station, super markets, restaurants are all around. only 1~2 mins by walking. It's very close to V&A museum and Natural History Museum. (5~7mins by walking) By the way,we are also satisfied with "free wifi" in the hotel room.it's a very good choice to stay here.

Proximity to the Albert Hall and to the major museums and galleries. Comfort and generous proportions of the room. Good bathroom with plentiful supply of nice toiletries and lots of big towels. No complaints

Liked the location for what we had planned. The staff were friendly and helpfull but not excessive. The room was quiet and overlooked the garden. It all contributed to a relaxing few days. N/A

Great location - near to Gluocester train station, spacious and clean room and friendly staffs! Didn't replace / top up the complimentary drinks and tissue paper after first day of stay. Guess it is not a big issue as Tesco is just around the corner!

Rooms were very clean and large. Great location and very nice staff. Good sleep quality - room was quiet and bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed dining at the Umami restaurant with 25% off. No free wifi in the room.

We have been there more than once, not one of the cheapest hotels but certainly value for our money. We booked last year in the same street a hotel and were really disappointed about everything so we now know "London is crown plaza hotel and nothing else "

Location was the best. You come up from the Underground and it's a 1/2 block away, and you dont have to change trains from Heathrow. The back of the hotel shares a lovely green area with a charming old church. Lots of eateries of all sorts nearby, spent a lot of time at the Royal Albert, very walkable. The staff was great - Martin, the concierge was particularly kind. The room was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. We've been to London several times, and never return to the same place twice. We'll definitely come back to the Kensington Crown Plaza. Little minor things....I Wish wi-fi was free. It's a small actual cost to the hotel, but a big convenience for a traveler. Cost may have been "in-line" with other hotels, but still pricey. Because we stayed here for a few days, went to Paris and came back later, we got to experience a couple of different rooms...the "attic" room we stayed in first was fine, though quite warm and a little worn. The desk attendant did offer us a nicer room if we could wait for a later check-in, but we we worn out ourselves and didn't want to wait...our fault. The room we had when we came back was grand!

The staff are wonderful - front desk, concierge, and everybody at check-in. Unfortunately, the room - and I had a superior suite - was a long way from comfortable. The air was stuffy, and the atmospheres drab and dark and gloomy. But the very worst aspect, the food. I had breakfast in my room and it was inedible. Stone cold, revolting, greasy and foul. For the money spent, this was hugely disappointing and I feel ripped off and foolish for hoping for comfort and luxury in a chain hotel.
