Large hotel, nice reception / bar area and very helpful staff. Room was small. Good hotel at discounted rates but not worth standard rates advertised in reception. |

Good location, good breakfast The directions on the website were wrong and need to be changed as I spent a long time driving around as a result. The website says: "Leave the M1 at junction 46. Take the A63 eastbound, signposted to Selby. Turn right at the next roundabout, the hotel is situated on the left." But actually after taking the A63 towards Selby, it's then the second roundabout not the first. |

The foyer area was not separated from the lounge, dining or bar area and was accessed through 2 large automatic doors. An arctic gale blew permanently through the area during our stay, making relaxing, having a drink or eating a meal very uncomfortable. |

The shower in the bathroom was (effectively) broken, spoiling the shower experience. I informed the hotel accordingly. |

Close to half reasonable beefeater pub Small rooms-lobby a bit like a railway station--bathroom tired and needed re decorating--quite an old hotel by holiday inn standards |

Friendly staff, excellent service, well presented & clean hotel ,food very good, plenty of parking Not really but in restaurant staff seem to be assigned set jobs & not assigned to set tables this led to things being missed...not offered bread rolls , wine menu , one meal brought out several minutes before the other.( but due to politeness of staff & presentation of food this more than made up for grumbles we had) |
