It was welcoming, friendly convenient and warm on a very snowy night

Pool availability. Friendly staff.

MOved sofa in room and found old crisps. Decor is a bit dated and the room was too far from the bar/restaurant for the baby monitor to work.

Hotel w2as very good but evening meals in restaraunt were out of this world and a good price. We had the liver and beef goujons! Please compliment the chef.

Handy for M1, York and Leeds. Food better than most Holiday Inns.

It was over all a plesant stay.Thank you I would recomend it to any one.

I only stayed 2 nights and can say that the room and the breakfast were very good indeed and exellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and polite and helped me without fuss when someone else charged an evening meal to my room. I suggest that the swipe cards are used at the dining area and not just your word is taken on turning up for a meal.

My only dislike was the corridor smelt badly of beer and sick. This may have been a one off if so I could not find any other fault in my stay.

When we arrived the hotel had booked us into 2 double rooms and we wanted 2 twin rooms on the booking it did only say double or twin which really we should have had the option but I cant remember if it did ot not. Luckily enough though the hotel did have one twin room therefore we did sort it our between ourselves as I was with my sister in law and we have shared rooms on several occastion so this did not pose a problem however it could have done.

The hotel had an obvious sewerage problem. The hotel corridors and the leisure facillities had an over bearing smell. When I asked about the smell they said there was a problem but they were used ti it now and work was to take place soon.The rooms were ok but small and it was like a sauna with no way of turning the heat down.
