The hotel is very close to Heathrow and has good free transport from the bus stop, dont pay for the hoppa bus as the free bus is so close to the hotel and very regular too.The bus number U3. The bar man wasn't very friendly. And the drinks a little expensive.

Proximity to airport for an early moring departure. The booking confirmation from your office indicated transportation from airport to hotel via Hoppa bus is available. It did not specify at a cost I.E. gbp 4.50 each. We did not have GPB's on arrival so it became an issue with the bus driver. He indicated that most clients that book online are of the opinion that it is a free ride. It isn't and perhaps you should indicate same on your confirmation.

The website is misrepresentative. There is no "free shuttle" from the hotel and the "free" internet is only for 30 minutes. Very disappointed.

.My non-smoking room was great, obviously refurbished recently. I was given an executive room; an improvement on the double I had last time which was tired and dingy, towels hard and scratchy and generally poor quality. Three Holiday Inns with no indication during booking which one to go to so ended up going to the wrong one and then having to lug heavy baggage back out to find the 'Real' one. Judging by the reactions of the reception staff this is a very common issue with a map being produced to show the location of the correct hotel. Public areas of this hotel are dowdy and tired. Exhorbitant charges for use of Internet and parking remove any benefit form the less expensive rate published with.booking agents so wil not use Holiday Inn at Heathrow again

The hotel was very convenient for an overnight stay close to Heathrow Terminal 5, with good Hoppa bus service available. It was also possible to walk to a couple of local food outlets and even out into countryside to stretch the legs, time and weather permitting, after a long flight, and if no car available, which is not the case for some airport hotels. The accommodation was as stated, very clean and comfortable. The online reservation system indicated that the accommodation fee would be deducted immediately from my credit card. However when I prepared to leave the hotel, the desk clerk advised that it didn't work that way and that I needed to pay the bill. As I hadn't allowed much time to do that before taking the Hoppa bus, I could easily have missed the bus to the airport. This should be made clear to guests at the time they check in, so that they can allow time for payment at checkout or pay the night before. I could see this being a distinct problem for people who do not usually allow time for unforeseen events.

It was close to the airport, clean and a good price. We were driving into the airport using 2 gps systems (in car and hand held) and spent almost 2 hours trying to find it. When calling the hotel the person could not/would not help us. We decided to go ahead and return the car and happened to drive by it with the rental car address. The building is huge but only has one sign at the opposite end of the building as the drive entrance. And that sign was obstructed by their New Years eve buffet sign. There was no marking that the drive was the entrance to the hotel saying "holiday inn". When I asked the desk clerk they said many people have this problem - but they do not fix it. In the taxi the next day the driver also said that is a common complaint that is unresolved because business travelers use cabs and driving vacationers only usually visit once so - no need to address problem.

Great breakfast - big selection and cooked breakfast very good. Room was comfortable and quiet. Reception and restaurant staff friendly. Limited dining choices. Wings restaurant expensive, both for food and drinks. £7.50 per glass of wine!

It is close to the airport, quite convenient for travellers staying for one night before taking the early morning flights or before moving to central London or other UK cities. The breakfast is very good with greater varieties than ordinary traditional English breakfast. The size of the room is something that does not meet the standard, I booked a triple room but the room accorded to me was not more than a double room, only with the addition of a sofa bed for my 14 year-old son.]As such, it restricted our movements inside the room.

The room was comfortable and the hotel is close the airport. Room Service was good and the TV had viewing choices. The Hotel is often confused with other Holiday Inns in the area. We were taken to the wrong one first by the taxi driver. The hotels need to change their names in order to avoid confusion for travellers, as this is a regular occurence. Staff at the desk are rude and unhelpful, the internet is expensive and hard to connect. The foyer smells and the overall appearance of the Hotel is old and tired. The bathroom tiles were cracked and oozing yellow glue which stained the bath mats. The Hotel is a maize of corridors and is grubby and stale. The proximity to the airport is good with a 4.50 pounds shuttle bus but the Hotel is so unappealing that I would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone. Not a pleasant experience.

The staff was outstanding. So very friendly, and so very kind. It made a difference. I would have liked a cheaper option at breakfast, as opposed to breaking the bank. I was just looking for something simple like scrambled eggs and a cup of coffee, but that was not an option. Instead I had to use the last of my cash to pay for the buffet. Mind you, the food was outstanding, but I really only ate a small plate of scrambled eggs and a slice of bacon. Shame that set me back £16.95.

Room service was really fast.. Room was clean.. Hotel reception staff were very friendly... I didn't like the fact that I had the cleans come into to my room every morning at 7am! The last morning I even had the door locked and a sign provided by holiday inn that said I would like to sleep in come back later but that did not stop ur staff from coming in... I think it's very rude as I was there to rest before I had a 28hour flight back to Australia soi wasn't impressed that I was woken up every morning I was there at 7am!!

On arrival, staff at the front desk demanded credit card details, even though the stay had been prepaid. This occurred despite that fact that I arrived after the restaurant had closed for the evening and departed to connect with a transatlantic flight before breakfast was served in the morning. I was told that if I did not provide a preauthorisation, I would be unable to stay at the hotel that night, although a manager had earlier annotated my electronic account record as fully prepaid. The fifty pound 'hold' on my credit card account was not removed for over a week, and was eventually removed only after a relative called the hotel and complained to a duty manager on my behalf. The duty manager was extremely helpful in resolving the problem and indicated that there were outsanding staff training issues, since such a demand should never have been made by the night staff.
