Holiday Inn London Heathrow    

Very new, clean, contemporary facilty, Easy access via the Hoppa.

There are four Holiday Inns at Heathrow; it is difficult to discern which one you are going to when taking transportation. Would like to have had hair dryer in the bathroom. They thought of everything else.

Buffet supper

Noise late at night and early morning. We had 4-5hrs quiet at most. Also the bed was too soft. Had to sleep on the floor!

The room was excellent.

Having to pay separately for bus transportation. Hotels in Canada and the US usually have complimentary bus shuttle to and from the airport..

I wasnt sure why WiFi was not provided free in the rooms apart from the Public area. This was the only exception I had.

Friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness.

Fire alarm went off and we evacuated. Waited outside about 30 minutes with no explanation or information. Told to return to room with no explanation of the problem or it's solution.

Food in the restaurant is good. Staff were very helpful and courteous.

Location to Heathrow, however we were told that there were 4 Holiday Inn's at Heathrow and the cab driver proceeded to take us from one to the other and charged us accordingly. Better identification of hotel would help!

You are totally at the mercy of the hotel for meals as there is nothing around. When we checked in we were pressed to include breakfast at 16.95 each for a very mundane buffet without being told what our options might be. At dinner in the hotel, we were given a limited menu so we decided to go over to the pub side in the hotel - the wait staff followed us over and then told us we could order from the pub menu if we wished. We stayed at the pub and were given excellent and prompt service at a very reasonable price.

It's very comfortable, clean and rather nice. Big room, big bathroom, friendly staff. And thanx to booking.com it appears to be really cheap :)

It's really far from London - about an hour by underground (and you'll need a change from a bus). Very expensive breakfast (17 pounds!!!). Very expensive transfer to airport (4.5 pounds while there is a free bus just around a corner).

The room was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room for our travel cases. It was close to the airport making it very easy to catch our flight to Honk Kong,

The TV Channels were very restricted

Food expensive and quality poor in the case of my salad I sent back , however the waiter exchanged without question

It seems the best way from the airport was the Hop-a-bus and that took about 30 minutes to go I think about 2 miles, because we were the end of the line. Going back in was better because of the same.

Very poorly signposted. Following directions I could not turn right and arrived very tired. Was given my door key only to find it was occupied by other persons. Went back to reception after one hour of trying to locate it and told that the other people had asked to be moved and were moved into my room. I was allocated another room but only given a voucher for a free drink which I think was a very poor gesture. Breakfast was very expensive. Not good value for the money.
