The totally uncomplicated welcome and cleanliness
Air conditioning was to cold In restaurant both dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was excellent evening menu although well cooked and presented was very boring and burger was disappointing.
- Big roomy hotel - Great breakfast - Helpful friendly staff
- Location is a bit random, you can walk into the village of Bexley or get a local bus up to the shopping centre but the hotel is plonked between the highways. I paid quite a lot for taxis for my weekend stay - For the basic rooming style price seemed a bit steep, but that may just be London for you
Stench of cigarettes in room and corridors... And NOT just tabbaco smoke either!
Hotel rooms and good selection at breakfast
Meal deal did not get 2 drinks as suggested and was expensive for a meal
The smoking section of the hotel is very smelly. the room was adjacent to a very noisy road
I thought the staff were particularly good, very friendly and helpful.
Staff friendly and welcoming. Location suited our purpose (family BBQ) in Belvedere. Reasonable on cost.
Bad smell when entering the room, smelt like a smokers room (but it wasn't). Personal preference I know but restaurant air con was a little on chilly side. We stayed at the hotel 1 year ago and restaurant temp exactly the same problem.
Excellent reception staff - polite and helpful Room service good
The convenience for access, the welcome and a room to meet the expected specifications. The local amenities in nearby Bexley 'village' add to the pleasure of a visit - many varied restaurants and main line rail station, as well as several bus routes adjacent.
The cost of main breakfast seems very high and does not seem to offer more simple alternatives on an individual price basis, so may not be the best option for all travellers. The 'double' bed size is now surpassed in alternative national chains, so seems a little dated.
Some of the staff, helpful & happy young girls as we were preparing for my sisters wedding, they were friendly. I liked the clean beds & towels.
Queues at reception only 2 staff, Sophia on reception at my arrival, gave me a room card & sent me to the wrong room which was on the first floor, as I had little time to get ready for the wedding I was maid of honour for & carrying all my luggage single handedly, I returned back to reception, no apology nor acknowledging her error, I found that very unprofessional & highly inconvenient.
The staff were efficient and friendly.
To reach the rooms after checking in (or when checking out), one has to pull luggage through a lounge area amongst people who are watching TV or having a drink with friends. Exit from hotel grounds is on a corner where approaching traffic is not easily visible.
Location and comfort
Location was ideal for me as my family live in Welling, staff were very helpful and obliging.
The rest good nights sleep
The continental buffet breakfast.
Location, room was spacious.
Extra cost for internet
Clean rooms Good staff
Far to expensive for drinks at the bar would have spent a lot more on drinks but not at your prices eg Vodka £4.55 a shot far to expensive with tonic £6.10
Staff in all areas I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Phoned ahead to see if there was any chance we could check in slightly early as we needed to change for a wedding - this was no problem and the rooms were ready for us when we arrived. Perfect!!!
Nothing - this was a great place to stay!
Most food excellent. Room comfortable.
Bar staff training required. Room needs update. Food tasted frozen although assured fresh. Noise from party late into early morning.
Friendly staff, nice building and pleasant room. We slept fine.
Aircon wasn't cold enough for me.
Spacious room and clean. Polite and helpful staff.
Having to pay for Wi-Fi Throw in a continental breakfast Car parking charge
Very convenient to our destination. Food and drink reasonably priced.
My wife thought the pillows were hard and sent for soft ones that came back the same.
Access to motorway, clean room at reasonable rate.
I thought it not quote fair to charge £3.00 to park if you were an hotel guest. Also £16.50 for a breakfast if all you require is tea and toast. You were unable to pay per item therefore I chose to drive out locally for this meal
Hotel standard was good. Food etc very good. Bar a little expensive. Rooms etc, spotlessly clean.
A long walk to town centre. Maybe 0.6 as the crow flies but on foot add another 1/2 mile. You can see the hill you want to walk up across the dual carriageway. But a long way around to get to it. A foot bridge would make it more central.
