Staff, particularly dining room/kitchen and front of house were very friendly and helpful. Additional charges for car park and breakfast were unacceptable. There is no parking alternative, and therefore guests have no other option but to pay additional costs for car parking. Breakfast should be included in the room price. Housekeeping was very poor with room service trays left in the public corridors all day and often into the evening of the following day

Friendly efficient reception staff. Hotel clean and well set out. Ideal for the purpose that it was booked which was a nearby family birthday celebration. Breakfast time was absolutely chaotic!! Slow service coupled with a very long queue. Definitely the low point of the stay taking into account the overall price of the breakfast.

Very convenient for me as a base between football games at Wycombe (watching mighty Carlisle United) and Chelsea, with a visit to my daughter in Bexleyheath in between. Hotel easy to find, convenient both for the A2 and Bexley Station - plus it only cost £3 to leave my car securely parked for 24 hours too. Given proximity to A2, my room was very quiet - as well as comfortable and clean. Staff friendly too. Couldn't fault the hotel, especially at the Booking.com price!

Really spacious well lit rooms. Bed very comfortable and food of a high quality. Immaculately presented and very well cleaned and maintained.Would definitely choose to stay here again. One of best reception desks I have ever encountered- Friendly , professional and efficient at all times!! Service in the restaurant in the evening was slower than I had anticipated it would be Internet access was expensive compared to other like for like hotels- many now offer this free

Reasonably priced, good location, friendly staff. The fire alarm being set off at 7.30am and we all had to evacuate the building when we'd just got to bed at 3am!! I do understand the necessity of it but thankfully in this case it was a false alarm.

We were visiting relatives for a birthday I must say the staff we fantastic nothing was too much trouble even made us supper at 10.30pm they were polite and friendly .please tell them how much we appreciated the warm welcome. Diane Mcmahon stayed 15th til 18th march 2012 I had my parents with me 80 & 85 they gave us a ground floor room which was great. But they had to get into the bath to shower. a walk in shower for the elderly would have been great.

Comfortable Rooms, modern styling. Convenient to main routes As a solo traveller on business and being self employed Value for Money is important. Room with breakfast Sunday night £79, room with breakfast Monday £99. I think if you book in on a Sunday the rate should be continued for remaining nights. I did not get £20 extra value on Monday. The restaurant was not good. Overpriced for some basic meals. I had Spaghetti/Meatballs on Sunday night for £15. The spaghetti was heavy and stodgy in a thick tomato sauce. Quantity was huge and it had been re-heated. I complained and a courtesy coffee desert offered at my insistence. Thai Chicken Curry on Night 2 was £14-75. Large Glass of Red £6.00. But the biggest "non-value" item is a 10% Discretionary Service Charge on the bill which I had removed. Car park Barrier was not working but I believe they normally charge £3.00 overnight if resident. No need for this. We pay enough. Staff however were polite and helpful.

The food was good and the staff were friendly. Good sized TV the bed was too small, there is no pressure in the shower, the tap in the bathroom did not work properly when put on hot, the pillows were not very good and there was little to no difference between 'soft' and firm'. No mini bar.

I thought the standard of the holiday inn at bexleyheath was absolutely terrible. The staff were ok, on both days that I spent there the lift was out of order then fixed then out if order again etc. There was a no hot water at all during the day only in the morning and night time. The cleanliness of the room was less than average, after finding hairs belonged to someone else on the glasses for rinsing your mouth with in the bathroom. Also tea stains on the cups didn't help. It's not really what I paid for and if I thought it was going to be like that I would never have stayed there. I travel an awful lot every 3 weeks to be exact and stay in hotels every time and to tell you the truth I would never stay in a Holiday Inn again. Thank you.

Hotel was well located and easy to find Rooms were freezing cold when we got in, took an hour or so to warm up. The food was pretty poor value and quality, we ordered a beef stew for £13 and it was no better than a soup, needed a spoon to drink it!! Also had a pizza which was at best pretty below average. Ended up buying crisps and nuts. Will not eat in a holiday inn again, better off going into town and spending your money there. You will get far better food and far better value outside.

The hotel was clean and tidy and staff very friendly. We were charged £18.56 for a double scotch and ginger ale and double vodka and diet coke in the bar. That is what is known as a rip off! If I was running a hotel I would charge people a reasonable price for drink to get them to stay in the hotel bar as opposed to them going somewhere else to drink or bringing their own drink and drinking it in their room.
