staff were very good

rooms were small, beds dreadfully uncomfortable, windows were faulty and pricing (especially drinks) in the restaurant was ridiculously high

The hotel is very well placed for the a2 main road, at the Black Prince interchange (the original name of the hotel).

Having lived in the area this was not the first time we have been in the hotel, but the first time we stayed there. We found it wanting and certainly not the best Holiday Inn we have stayed in. The public spaces, especially the bar, were bland and characterless. The duvet on our bed barely covered its suface - they must have taken measurements by the millimetre to see how little they could get away with. The noise of the main road was intrusive (we lived closer to it and managed to achieve much less noise with double glazing). And the price of the extras - £13.95 for breakfast? . . . Luckily we knew where else to go, but we pity those who don'T. Think very carefully before staying here.

Great location for our day trip to Sidcup

When we arrived we had the wrong room and the staff were very sympathetic and helpful.

We were all very cold during the night. The heating didn't seem to be working.

Breakfast was great, rooms are okay.

1. The restaurant took about one-and-a-half hour to serve our dinners which is very, very slow! Some of the meals weren't hot but a bit warm. 2. We booked 6 double rooms in september, separate beds, but on arrival we found out that we had some familyrooms and even 2p beds! That was not our booking!

The staff were very attentive and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

I think the wifi should be complimentary. 16 pounds for 24 hours is too expensive really.

Very convenient for us to visit all our family and friends. Also close to railway station. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Room vey spacious and modern - very nice. Breakfast good.

We stayed 4 nights and after the first night we couldn't get into our room and we were told that the card had expired. It was a bit of a pain having to have the card validated everytime we went out, frequently there were people checking in or out and we had to wait. The Hilton validates the card for the whole period you stay and you use the same card to go in and out. Wasn't keen on the disabled toilet and the bathroom ,although lovely and spacious, was freezing cold. On the first day of our stay the milk,sugar, tea etc and the toiletries were not replaced.

Location was excellent for the family trip we had planned.

The extra charges which, if paying anything like the £130 per night rack- rate, would be totally unacceptable. For instance, many of the most basic hotels have free-wifi and parking and for a premium hotel to be charging residents extra for what are now "essentials", particularly to any business traveller, I believe is totally unacceptable - the budget airlines can get away with such hidden extras, but in the hotel sector you have too much competition.

Rooms were perfect decor great. Staff very helpful!
