There was no lift so access to my room was difficult on the second floor.

Position. Staff very good

Carpets stained in corridors. Woken by people talking in the corridors in the early hours, more than once. Doors not soundproof.

No free Internet compared to all other places. Same type of breakfast are served every day. NOT GOOD Ironing board not working. Request for a service takes awhile to come through.

The hotel had a magnificent ambience which was supplemented with an excellent staff.

The Receptionist was very very helpful as was the person in the Spa area.

Unfortunately, my wife noticed that there were some marks on the sheet in our room and also on a couple of towels in the bathroom. We were not sure what they were but reckoned on them being mascara which apparently is very difficult to remove from fabric. We were surprised that the sheet had been used on the bed as it would have been very obvious to anyone making the bed.

The location is convenient for motorway access, meals were good - if a little expensive. Pool and exercise centre is excellent.

The "executive" room wasn'T. It is exactly the same size as all of the other rooms (I checked) and actually felt smaller. The only difference is that you are given two small bottles of water and a Mars Bar. Be very careful to not move anything in the fridge as you are charged for moving something!!! Charging £5.00 an hour for internet access is incredible. Wake up and join the 21st century!!!!

Very comfortable, clean stopover for family gathering, including toddler and excellent breakfast options. Also particularly found the wide time available for breakfast very convenient, along with the relatively late check-out time.

The only thing we didn't like was the lack of a lift when carrying a toddler back and forth.

Comfortable and well mainatined. Leisure facilities were good if under-used! Breakfast was excellent every day.

Signposting from the main road could be improved. I don't see the necessity the have music blasting outside the main entrance....
