Very ordinary Muddle over pre-payment. Holiday Inn hadn't taken payment at time of booking as we had been advised.Top floor room with no windows and rooflight which had no blinds nor any means of opening. Shower poor.

Close to airport (but very quiet). Lively and interesting Bar/Foyer area. Varied menus for bar and dining-room. Very pleasant staff.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is badly, badly in need of an upgrade. The reception area is tatty and tired and corridors and room were dated and dowdy with a depressing fusty smell. Flat screen tv? Forget it. I paid approx £140 and got the standard of a low end bed and breakfast - not even any decent soap, conditioner etc in the bedroom.

The hotel was easy to find from Norwich City Centre. The buffets at dinner and breakfast were delicious and good value. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool, sauna and steam room were a nice extra and we did use them. The twin room we booked was rather expensive.

Perfect location for Norwich airport The early morning wake up call system didn't work and I missed my flight. The hotel gave me a full refund as compensation and staff were very apologetic.

As it was so cold in the room we enjoyed going to the 'spa', although very poorly maintained the water in the jacuzzi was hot, and the steam room and sauna were working too which all helped in getting us warm. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly, unfortunately the quality of food let that down. The receptionist was not particularly friendly. We were promised fruit juice and chocolate, none of which were provided, even when we asked agian at reception. The room was cold, very cold, and the heating did not work. The bathroom was in need of a refurbishment, the toilet was dirty.

The leisure centre. When we arrived our room had no heating and it was very cold. Switched to another smaller room but this was also cold. Took at least 3 hours for the room to warm up and as I had a bad cold I was not impressed. Staff were very helpful but the room was very cold.
