In Runcorn town centre, this Campanile Hotel is 120 metres from Runcorn Railway Station and 7 minutes’ drive from the M56 motorway. The restaurant is a traditional French-style bistro.

A mile (1.6 km) from junction 11 of the M56 and just over a mile (1.6 km) from Runcorn East Railway Station, the hotel offers comfortable, great-value rooms and free parking.

A comfortable friendly hotel to use as a base when in Runcorn, can't fault anything and would definitely stay here again.
A sign to say where the hair dryer and mirror are would be a help, and an ironing board in the room would be useful.
Comfortable room. Good shower
Free wifi but very fiddly and slow I had sausage and mash in the bar. It wasn't great.
The staff were absolutely wonderful, cheerful, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. They made the whole 3 day stay as good as it gets.
Can't think of one thing.
the pool the breakfast the helpful friendly service
Location close to the motorway, comfortable beds, very little noise
Cold room,no free WiFi. Cold dining room
I used to stay at the Daresbury Park Hotel when De Vere had it. Sadly the last time I went it had been taken over by Brittannia Hotels and has gone down hill rapidly. T then found the Holiday Inn and in comparison it is the Ritz. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is a bit further but still very good, there is a pool to use and the restaurant had a decent choice too. The WIFI worked well and all in all it was good value for money.
Being picky, this hotel is a little journey away from restaurants if I had decided to eat out. It is on the edge of a housing estate and so is away from any other amenities. That said the restaurant was very good.
Noisy hum during the night. Air con or noise from the gym/pool. (we were quite close)
When we arrived the room was cold. However when we informed the reception a heater was found straight away.
We've stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions when visiting family in the area. Have always been completed satisfied with the service, accommodation and lovely breakfast. Will continue to stay here in the future.
surprised how big hotel was
no, all good
Everything is clean and it's a comfortable place to be. Close to cheshire oaks makes it a perfect place for shopping too.
Unable to switch on heating when cold. It's an automatic heating which is switched on and off by the hotel not yourself. The wifi isn't free and is expensive.
Clean comfortable Helpful staff
Just the price of meals
The staff. Very helpful and kind.
excellent friendly staff, very clean and comfy
Kettle didn't work, got it replaced No decaf coffee, got some brought up No heating, radiator needed bleeding - still same when we left, nothing done nor alternative heating source offered Day 2 - no plastic glasses
We paid £31 for a double room for 2 adults. For that price I can not fault anything. A nice well kept hotel with friendly helpful staff - compact but clean modern room - what more could you want!
Nothing to dislike
Comfortable and clean
I can't think of anything except first impression was its small. But you get what you pay for
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop outside the entrance which was handy to get a bus to Cheshire Oaks or Chester
The choice on the menus was limited
Superbly clean Perfect bathroom Whole hotel well maintained Perfect breakfast Perfect bed Perfect t.v. Perfect staff Good bar
Room VERY SMALL - really only big enough for a single. Only one chair + no occasional table for Scrabble. Heating meanly turned off for most of middle of day. Clapped out furniture
The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable.
Room was dirty and dusty with added cigarette ash, 3 x broken fixtures in the bathroom, only enough condiments for 1 person to make a drink, beer in the bar was flat, no apology given, restaurant not available due to a wedding, was forced to order room service which took 25 mins to order and the food was terrible. Also rubbish left in the hallway and lack of presence of staff.
was unable to raise the tempreture in the room as the aircon was not ajustable
Staff were extremely helpful especially with the problems checking in. Overall an excellent stay.
The main frustration was that booking.com failed to notify the hotel of our arrival. They had to be contacted whilst I was on site and then claimed the hotel had received the booking. Good job hotel weren't full!
The breakfast very good
Lack of staff on bar
Initially we were placed in a room with an adjoining door. There was no soundproofing as we could hear loud snoring from the room next to us. We were moved but this was still inconvenient after our long journey. These room are not suitable for non families and should not be hired out
Bed very good. Food reasonable but pricey for what it was. Drinks pricey.
Very drab atmosphere not helped by the grey outfits chosen for the staff. Long dark corridors. No lighting near lift. Wide open space in vestibule/reception area was an unwelcoming feature
