Reasonable prices, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, a swiming pool for pre-breakfast exercise, close to my family. Having used this hotel for a number of years I feel it is starting to look a bit dilapidated, could do with new carpets, some painting in the room areas

Receptionsists were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good. No extractor fans in bedrooms/bedroom toilet/bathrooms so bedroom and bathroom smelled of damp and toilet smells. The passive ventilation system is wholly inadequate and even in high winds/storm force winds the room was smelly and almost no ventilation went through the passive vent. There was no vent above the windows. Condensation poured down the secondary-glazed windows. With two parents and one child it was awful.

Convenient and not expensive Room was rather tatty and dusty. Needs redecoration. Breakfast food was not very hot and plates were cold. A pot of coffee rather than single cups poured out on request would be preferred.

Breakfast good, price good value Double bed in our room only 4 feet wide, would expect at least a 4'6 bed when paying for a double, made for a poor nights sleep

Good start with friendly and helpful reception staff, my room was comfortable and the bathroom facilities sufficient, although the water could have been warmer. Very unimpressed by the slow service in the restaurant where I waited almost 40 minutes for a basic gammon & chips and then a further 30 minutes to order desert. Maybe I caught it on an 'off night' but the restaurant was barely half full so I wonder how they cope when very busy.

Staff in the Bar / Rest were appauling, no personalality at all, especially the Old women who dresses like she is in her 20's, bad attitude and no appoligie for removing my beer whilst in the loo's for 30 seconds!!! Also tried over charging me. Rooms are in need of a refurb as carpet worn out and bed has seen better days. Would never go back. Paid £70 for room x

Value for money, sensible prices, good 'pub food' and superb full english breakfast, in very nice bar/restaurant, rooms clean if not that modern, stay here a lot as great location very near A19/A66and decent hotel with excellent gym/pool facilities Some of the corridors/ancillary areas could do with modernising, but doesn't detract from the value for money aspect of the hotel

Ideally placed for my visit. It had a good Gym and leisure pool and excellent steam room I enjoyed. It lacks for a large hotel a really comfortable lounge to read and relax and I found my room though clean a little sparse as a room to really relax in. Food was reasonable, though I prefer a fresh cooked breakfast than that supplied where fried food in hot containers can become dried and loose some appeal. The curry in the evening was excellent. I would use again but would prefer a modern flat screen tv with good picture and that comfortable lounge. This is my second stay here. Parking excellent. Phil form Woking Surrey Room a little sparse of comfortable seating and reading lighting. A nice lounge area with good lighting for reading. Not able to find a direct telephone number to hotel on internet.
