Reasonable nights sleep except for noisey guests. A good location.
The building shows its age with tired decor, stained carpets and dated furnishings in the room. The breakfast room was dark and very poorly laid out.
Nothing enjoyable to recall
Room not cleaned, bed ancient and uncomfortable, duvet cover covered in black stains. Food service areas dark and uninviting. Corridor carpets worn out and potholes in the walkways, not suitable for anyone who has difficulty walking.
the window in the room was bright
The bar staff... everything else was just tired looking and boring
Staff friendly & helpfull even when under pressure
Bathroom little grubby grout etc
Wifi was rubbish!
Nathan..the waiter was excellent in his approach and service..
Taxi Phone didn't work Same Breakfast every morning..NO CHANGE AT ALL
After being told the restaurant was busy and come back in 30 minutes I waited over an hour to be served. Steak was over cooked. asked for buttered vegetables and got new potatoes. Bar under staffed waited 20 mins to be served.
Room not vet clean, dated needs money spending on it. The shower in room 119 did not work at all.The restaurant was dimly lit and again dated. The menu was in very small print and difficult to read.
Very quiet... didnt hear other guests tvs like you do in the premier Inn
Parking bays too narrow and people park on them taking up two spaces leaving you having to use the pot holed additional parking. ..
Hotel is tired and not very clean.
Excellent value for money with the use of facilities
Pool was great
This hotel was disgusting to the highest order. Lack of decoration, completely dirty, not untidy, down right dirty.
swimming pool.. although busy i was offered another bedroom
reception staff not interested in my problem connecting to internet.... very bad mould in bathroom.. toilet seat broken..no soap in dispenser..... bed in poor condition and sagging...curtains torn... furniture scratched and covered in dust...dressing table broken in half..absolutely no internet connection and mobile phone signal on and off...there was a wedding do that ended sometime after midnight which is fair but then staff started emptying bins and clattering bottles for next hour or so with no attempt to keep noise levels to a minimum
The room was poor, the bathroom was unpleasant. It was very tired and had a horrible smell. The radiator was hung diagonal and the curtains did not block out light. A very tired looking over priced room.
the price cheapest i could find
pool and sauna
Unable to sleep due to loud disco until 12.30 am, room requires some refurbishment, easy chair so dirty and stained that I could not believe that all the staff ignored obvious unusable condition
Good location for Teeside
Had an older style room
Doors banging all night and next door room TV could be heard
restaurant - great food and service
beds - the mattresses were a bit harsh
Gym facilities were good. Good food.
Free wifi but it was very slow
The room was very hot. Poor phone signal and internet kept dropping. TV also was a patchy
I was staying on my own with twin babies. Staff were very helpful getting a fan as the room was hot, extra pillows and even helping me carry the babies out to the car.
Bathroom was very compact couldn't close door and have both babies laid on the floor for bath time but this wasn't the most important thing in the grand scheme of things.
The breakfast was good.
We arrived very tired after a nine hour journey from the south coast to a reception full of drunken loud girls on a hen night, music was blasting out, we had to try and find our way through these girls to get to our room. The beds were very uncomfortable, we could feel the springs. There was a strong smell of stale urine in the bathroom. The hotel seemed to be really tired and in great need of refurbishment. I could feel holes in the concrete beneath the carpet in the hallway.
Staff were very friendly at breakfast and we can recommend the breakfast.
Unfortunately we had people in the next room that chatted into the early hours of the morning, which was a bit annoying.
Great gym Comfortable rooms
