Holiday Villa Hotel  

We booked a double room at 6/29/2011. We arrived at 08/21/2011. The room they gave us was room 202 in the back side of the hotel half the size of a normal hotel room boiling from the sun. We couldn' t move or breathe. We asked for another room but they told us that every room in the hotel had the same size. Which was a lie. the next day after having an argument they gave us a normal room at the front side of the hotel which was twice the siize of 202. On the other hand they made us pay our stay in advance before we see the room. Something that has never happend to us anywhere in Europe (including London). We are very sorry for that treatment!

Very pleasant staff and the hotel restaurant serves Malaysian cuisine.

The location was decent about a 10min walk from the tube. Staff were friendly and accommodating and breakfast. If travelling again would probably book here. Paddington is a great location.

I was in a triple room, quite large but the floors squeeked a lot and the rooms were very warm. Did mention this to staff so they are aware.

The room was spacious and clean.The staff were friendly and helpful,particularly Aran,Ali and Syawal.We enjoyed Malaysian food, Free breakfast can be improved by providing some variety,instead of monotonous menu.Squeeky flooring and hot water showers should be addressed. Disappointed no free wi fi provided for guests to check their e mails and check for any changes/ updates in their travel plans.. Definitely will recommend to friends if shortcomings as listed are addressed.

Very Dated Decor

I always feel at home when I at Holiday Villa Hotel.

Nice hotel in convenient location with friendly staff.

Very noisy all night long due to squeaky flooring.

Low price.

Elevator not working. Very unfriendly staff. Room extremely hot and no possibility to turn down the heat. All in all a very unpleasant stay.

Value and location was good.

Bed was uncomfortable and room very small. Also very warm in room, though hotel offered to change our room.

Feel at home and the availability of halal malaysian food.

Quite far from tube station.

When we first arrived at the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and told us where our room was. The location was brilliant and very near to where we needed to be so was ideal.

When we got to our room we were disappointed; The room was very small and hardly any space for two people, the shower would not work (was dripping a little bit), the bed was very small and very uncomfortable and the television did not work. After phoning down to reception, a technician came to have a look and managed to get the shower working a little bit better, although we couldn't get a comfortable temperature. The television however did not work properly and we could only get two channels on clearly. The breakfast was continental but lacked variety.

Excellent location in our prefered part of London, our bedroom / bathroom were very clean and tidy, would stay again

I met a very pleasant staff, friendly and considerate. I didn't have any problem in communicating with any hotel staff.

Breakfast facility was not up to the mark. I stayed 5 days at the hotel, but I took breakfast only the first day. There were no one to assist for breakfast, or answer my questions. I took my breakfasts outside the hotel.
