Location was good for the Olympia
The rooms were very basic, floors were dirty and 1 room had wet paint. Not double glazed so very noisy at night. Kitchens lack alot and no sofa as booked!
It's like a hostel, poor customer device and dirty accommodation.
I was travelling with my 9-year-old daughter and this was a great place for us. I cooked breakfast and dinner in our apartment while my daughter watched tv´s children´s programmes. The people in the reception are very friendly. There's a bus stop nearby and by bus number 10 you can get to Oxford Circus and British Museum very easily :-)
The apartment was lovely and clean and great location, perfect for a family with young children.
There were no pots or pans in the kitchen.
Good value for money, clean beds, great location
Very noisy as right on Holland Road and single glazing. Very light with streetlights shining through
Literally nothing apart from close to Olympia but if you can actually wash due to lack of facilities/hot water, then it's just not pleasurable.
Poor staff - no one ever around. No hot water in shower. Dirty and grimey room/bathroom. No basics such as toilet paper. Paper thin curtains - pretty much light at night. So noisy on main road. Water dripping through wooden bathroom doorframe - no one around to complain to. Sofa collapsed when sat on (I'm only 77kgs) Could not be paid to stay at thishotel/apartment.
I was attending an event at Olympia and the location was ideal for this. Kensington High Street was a short walk away for shops and restaurants. Tube Stations were 10-15 minutes walk away. The room was clean and the wi-fi very good.
Doors in hotel are constantly looked and you need to make a call for opening first time. Tube station near isn't regular station - tube works here on weekends only, so 2 changes for central part of town. Room was tiny and not really clean. Everything is old and shabby. Windows are very old so i heard every sound from the street - day and night (large road in front of hotel, so it's noisy 24/7)
The warm staff. Quite location.
I liked and enjoyed my stay.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. Did everything to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable.
No power shower. But made up for this with a nice super size room!
The size of the room and location on bottom floor was great as we did not have to carry bags upstairs. If you understand you look after your own room as tgey do not clean everyday then you would be fine.
No.one on the desk when you needed to ask a quedtion hut the guy who was there was very helpful. Train station trains only run at certain times.
The toaster, microwave, T:V and the comfort of the bed.
The shower, the wifi is slow at times poor internet connections.
Very helpful staff
Spacious, comfy bed and nice lounge space.
No towels in the kitchen
Location Friendly staff
Noise from floor above That's it
A good solution if you travel with your family on a limited budget. Clean, large, with facilities to prepare your meals.
The caretaker and space was goid
Distance to city and nearest underground station..and there is no lift.
The outside portrays a very different story to the inside - cracked plaster, poor bathroom fittings, old furniture.
Location Staff Spacious
I liked the ease of coming and going without the fuss of a hotel. We had a much bigger room than if we'd booked a hotel and the freedom to either eat in or out depending on how we felt because we had the kitchenette. It was the perfect location for our conference at Olympia.
As often is the case, the shower let the place down but not as bad as some! The bed was a bit soft as well.
Dirty basement room with broken windows with draft coming through. Smelly fridge, dirty cupboard, food from previous guests stuck on plates. Dirty microwave, plug didn't even reach socket. RUDE STAFF (said they would swap rooms or give partial refund then ignored our calls and avoided us for the rest of our stay) Stained walls, dirty bathroom with bugs from damp, cracked shower. Worst hotel ever, don't be fooled by the photo's because they strategically put the pictures of the nice rooms on the website and leave out the disgusting ones. Overpriced for what it is, then again a tenner would be overpriced. The only thing that could be worse is sleeping on the street!
very friendly and helpful staff, great location, rooms are very clean and nicely decorated
The hotel was clean and very spacious.
The room itself was quite hot and I couldn't adjust the radiator as the control knob was broken.
Very nice wecome
Friendly, helpful staff. Warm apartment, but windows could be opened for fresh air. Busy road, but convenient location. Found parking nearby at reasonable price, but possibly during the daytime at the shopping centre might be free... Was worried I might not find a space nearby to be able to load the car, but this was not a problem, and spaces can be used by anyone all night until 8:30am.
Although facing the back of the house, road noise could still be heard. Could do with better quality furniture and fittings, and more in the kitchen. We are a light weight family, but chairs broke/cracked.
