Spacious, comfy bed and nice lounge space.
No towels in the kitchen
Location Friendly staff
Noise from floor above That's it
A good solution if you travel with your family on a limited budget. Clean, large, with facilities to prepare your meals.
The caretaker and space was goid
Distance to city and nearest underground station..and there is no lift.
The outside portrays a very different story to the inside - cracked plaster, poor bathroom fittings, old furniture.
Location Staff Spacious
I liked the ease of coming and going without the fuss of a hotel. We had a much bigger room than if we'd booked a hotel and the freedom to either eat in or out depending on how we felt because we had the kitchenette. It was the perfect location for our conference at Olympia.
As often is the case, the shower let the place down but not as bad as some! The bed was a bit soft as well.
Dirty basement room with broken windows with draft coming through. Smelly fridge, dirty cupboard, food from previous guests stuck on plates. Dirty microwave, plug didn't even reach socket. RUDE STAFF (said they would swap rooms or give partial refund then ignored our calls and avoided us for the rest of our stay) Stained walls, dirty bathroom with bugs from damp, cracked shower. Worst hotel ever, don't be fooled by the photo's because they strategically put the pictures of the nice rooms on the website and leave out the disgusting ones. Overpriced for what it is, then again a tenner would be overpriced. The only thing that could be worse is sleeping on the street!
very friendly and helpful staff, great location, rooms are very clean and nicely decorated
The hotel was clean and very spacious.
The room itself was quite hot and I couldn't adjust the radiator as the control knob was broken.
Very nice wecome
Friendly, helpful staff. Warm apartment, but windows could be opened for fresh air. Busy road, but convenient location. Found parking nearby at reasonable price, but possibly during the daytime at the shopping centre might be free... Was worried I might not find a space nearby to be able to load the car, but this was not a problem, and spaces can be used by anyone all night until 8:30am.
Although facing the back of the house, road noise could still be heard. Could do with better quality furniture and fittings, and more in the kitchen. We are a light weight family, but chairs broke/cracked.
staff did not respond to my requests.microwave was very dirty, no oven and hotplate didn't work and no instructions to help me work it out! Glad I took incense as it smelt of smoke!
The young lady who was taking care of the apartment, and the spacious and sunny rooms.
No bedside lamps and table, dirty bathroom door, noise above the bed due to a heater(?), bad beds.
Although clean, these apartmentsd are very basic and do not reflect the website. The kitchen and bathroom are in disarray with the toilet very lose and apparently unattached to the floor. The shower is poor and the temperature changes by itself. The staff - when seen - speak very little English. The main phone number of the place never answers, and the mobile does not either. I was also charged a holding fee prior to arriving, then charged upon arrival and am waiting for the holding fee to disappear, until then there is a block on my credit card. I would not recommend this facility to anybody - pay a little more and get what's really worth your money. Like the saying goes, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. And in this case, it certainly seemed too good to be true on the website.
Location was perfect for any Olympia Events. Regular hours staff were helpful, and made you feel at home.
Could be better prepared for out of hours assistance.
All round we were very satisfied.
Building works going on in adjacent property during our stay but with windows shut they blocked out the noise.
could not get in touch with staff all day. location room was tiny for 4 adults maybe better for 2 adults and 2 kids. If you are a hamster the shower will be big enough for you.
The linens were clean. The location was conveniently located to bus stops.
Wi-Fi did not work the last two days of our stay. We had no hot water the last two days. They promised to wash any dirty dishes. The first day, they did. The remaining three, they did not. The phone numbers were never answered. Staff was rarely available.
On arrival we were told our apartment had a leak the previous night and they'd had to change us to a triple room. It was £9 cheaper and absolutely awful. Not sure the room we booked even existed :-/
If your after budget accomodation then this place is up there for it.... Olympia and its train station within 5mins walk so access to Underground and Westfield shopping centre easy via quick train hop to Shepherds Bush Nisa, Morrisons and Sainsburys mini markets within 5mins
We arrived at 2130hrs... after emailing, texting and apeaking with staff to advise of our late arrival. When we got there...there was no reception service.... had to wait 10mins before someone arrived to let us in. When we got in our room... It had obviously not been cleaned... there was numerous stains to the bathroom walls, there was no toilet paper, cooking impliments were stained and all the electrical appliancies (hot plate, microwave, kettle)were plugged into the same extension plug socket. If you were considering using the room for cooking or longer stay, we wouldnt recommend it .... unless your use to backpacker budget standards.. reminded us of hotel stays across vietnam! Aside of the person letting us in we never saw any staff ..... even at check-out.... Signs at reception simply made request for room keys to be left in the room on checkout. 2days into our stay ..loo roll magically appeared in our room... No real night life nearby.... only 1 pub across road....more designed and geared up for bistro... as are others within 15min walk..
Friendliness of the receptionist and being helpful. Special request was fulfilled and our stay at holland is pleasant with the kitchen facilities provided without having to dine out.
The wall isn't soundproof so it's kind of noisy when people are talking outside during night time. Shower gel wasn't replenish when used up but we brought over ours so it was okay to us, but maybe not for tourist coming for a short stay.
Well, where do I start. We arrived an hour before check in at 1pm to find the door locked and had to knock and ring the doorbell several times before anyone answered even though reception is supposed to be open from 11am on a Saturday. A very friendly lady answered the door and said we could have our room an hour early but she still had to Hoover the room. She led us down to a basement apartment with access to a communal garden. The previous occupants luggage was still in the room even though checkout is 11am. My husband helped her lift it into the hallway outside our room. I would have been concerned had it have been my personal belongings as anyone could have had a good look through! Having a brief look round the room was shabby and dirty and required more than a quick Hoover. The fridge and oven were dirty and the sofa looked like something my great grandma had owned in the 1960s even with complimentary crumbs under the seat cushions! The drawers in the bedroom were broken and the folding door to the bedroom was broken so any privacy was a problem. The tv took some working out and when we finally worked it out we could only get one channel. We were pleased with the garden only to find a dirty discarded sock on the patio and rubbish and a carton full of cigarette tab ends on the wall next to the patio table. We were going out for tea and had still not been given a key so had to ask as the previous occupants had taken it with them. They finally brought us a key at 3.30 and we still had to ask for them to lock the back door as anyone could have got in from the communal garden from another building. We then had no access to the garden for the rest of our stay as they left us without a key for the back door. When returning we all needed a shower as london and the underground had been particularly hot that day and we had been up since 3am travelling.
We had no hot water one week. no lights, it was dark. were given 1 key on the number, which is home to 4 adults, always at the reception desk was empty and we could not get into the room. sofa was very old, all crunched and broke. kitchen utensils were not. Kettle in the room was broken.
nothing about this property or staff is good
Dirty bathroom facilities, toilet door would not close, shower hot water runs out after 1 minute, traffic noise unbearable, no tea towel supplied, photos did not represent true images and are misleading, very rude and abusive staff, locked out of apartment after confirming arrival time. Really bad service, do yourself a favour and do not stay there.
