Great location. Close to buses that take you to city centre. Quiet if you are facing the back, and we were!
We didn't have hot water for 2 days. They tried to fix but we had no shower for 2 days.
These are good apartments for the money you pay. Lots of power points and comfortable beds.
I booked a stay for one adult and three teenagers, only problem was we were only given two towels. Three coffee mugs and three cereal bowls, a tad inconvenient.
The staff are excellent. We got help with locating the hotel and help in settling in our family room. We felt quite welcome, as our needs were readily attended to. We had easy access to shopping, the bus and train stops were a few metres away and we could walk around at any time of the day.
The mattresses can be firmer, especially for people used to orthopedic beds
Staff very friendly and go out of their way to help you
Staff were helpful, location quite good
Apartment very dirty, bathroom and toilet not cleaned, feacies on wall, urine on toilet, bad soap scum on shower, drains smelt awful, pillows filthy and pillowcases threadbare. Door lock seemed a bit dodgy and didn't feel secure. Room very warm and no fan or air-con.
Even though the person in the reception was never there, at least he was nice when he was actually in the apartments. There is absolutely nothing I liked.
I arrived and nobody was there, door was lock and I had to make an international call to the phone number that was on the door for any "emergency" I waited for 45 minutes until someone arrived to give me the keys. Never saw anybody else until I left so if you have a problem you are on your own. There was no adaptor for electricity ( pretty much all the hotels have adaptors for european and other visitors ), the room was basic to say the least, very noisy street. Metro station is not near, the one that appears to be near the apartments ( Kensington Olympia ) only works during some weekends and when there is an important fair!
Location was good and it was very easy to travel all over London. It was nice to live an ordinary flat, you can get a feeling of common life. Staff was friendly.
Staff did not mind about opening times, so it was a bit difficult if you wanted to leave luggages or ask something. They informed that they will do dishes, but they never did. Also toiletpaper ended, sometimes we did not get warm water and toilet and some of the lights were broken the whole time. Some other place you could expect a little more from that money, but I gues not in London...
No service helpful n available staff did not show up for 4days Water leaked from the ceiling of room We complained of it n the staff totally ignored. I was really shocked about their service. Kitchen ustensils so poor i can not cook. Electronic kettle was dirty n rotten.
We loved the staff . The lady made our stay wonderful
The double bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Basic but clean. Good location. Nice patio area
Generally run down, unlike photo's advertised. Small details like faulty/loose door handles, stopped clock, no soap in bathroom take away from overall impression.
Amazing location, right near the train station. Pub and supermarket 1 minute walk.
Hard to contact staff to let us in when we first got to the place.
The location was excellent solely for the fact i was on business at the Kensington Olympia and it took me all of 1 min 20 seconds ( yes i timed it was that close) to get there, if i was not doing anything there it would have been a bit of pain!
i did not like the fridge the fridge was dirty and had quite a few long black hairs inside, that was not nice! i did not like the fact after a 3 hour trip, not toilet paper was in the bathroom (which was rectified when i left the room after i had checked in), no hand soap was provided. The shower was pathetic, it varied in temperature and the shower head did not stay where i wanted it, it was that old, also the shower was taped up with duct tape, the toilet seat was dirty and stained. my bin was overflowing with previous occupants rubbish, plates and cutlery provided were had chunks of food remains on. had a outside garden table in the room? no double bed only two singles and a sofa bed which made it feel like a hostel (a very expensive one for the price i paid) floor not been swept properly as i got bits on my feet when i got out the shower. they openly said the only changed the sheets and towels once a week, unfortunately you could tell this as my duvet was marked. The most annoying thing and my personal pet hate, a random collection of coat hangers in the wardrobe, no need! was glad to to get out of there if im honest! sorry, but they need to try much much harder if they want to stay in business.
1--reached there after 12 hour long flight, the apartment was closed,no one answering the phone, had to stand on the road for 2 hours waiting for receptionist to come..Extremely uncooperative staff,no empathy, rather argue with you if you complaint. Room was untidy, used blankets still in the room...No service at all, only provided half tissue roll in the toilet for 3 nights,no one came to add toiletries...Room extremely noisy due to passing traffic ... Will never come here again, neither would recommend others....
photos didn't match my stay and there is not a receptionist around except for certain hours. this place was not worth the money.
1. There was no-one at reception to open the front door when i arrived and it was raining. 2. There were no towels / toiletries in the room. 3. When I rang reception next morning they (a) Asked if I could wait until 10.30 - No, (b) Said they would look into it, (c) Switched phone to voice-mail so no further contact possible.
Convenience for Olympia second to none. Emile was incredibly helpful. The apartment had everything I needed and was perfectly comfortable and excellent value.
Nothing do not stay at this hole
What a terrible place! I would not expect my dog to stay at this dreadfull place. Think of slum. One cannot describe how dreadful one place can be yuk!!!
Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Booking in and checking out was simple and straightforward.
The staff was never around when we stayed there. They were only around when we checked in n out. I will never recommend this apartment.
Position is good, 200mt far from Kensinghton Olimpia tube station, WiFi is god and fast, Staff very kind, room spaciously enough
my room faced main road and was noisy. Not all rooms have same problem, those ones that face internal court are perfect
Reception not on his place most of time
value and nice bedding
no tea/coffee facilities or bottled water in room
Value for money in London. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good range of supermarkets nearby
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice location, convenient to shops, bar, train and buses.
No tea-towel supplied. No hob, only a microwave.
Do not stay here! The welcome was very unprofessional...we were let in by the cleaner who had no idea what she was doing. When we were shown to our apartment it was filthy with dust everywhere and the furnishings were shabby. There was also an infestation of ants. There were four of us staying in the apartment and it was cramped. Definitely would not recommend and definitely will not be returning!
