noise on side of busy road toilet for other room opposite our bed room door could hear other guests using it banging of doors .Cold rooms had to ask owner to put heating on damp walls ceilings bed needs replacing very poor breakfast not worth the extra money on Monday evening the hotel does not do meals so we had to make do with some cake and a cup of tea in our room on day of departure on cleaner on site she told us to leave key on bar no thank you for staying at this hotel? no lights on had to walk down steps in semi darkness we would never us this place again or recommend it not worth the money we paid I hope this a one off or we may not us your site again very upset customers. Contractor stopping at this place were not happy that they had to do a12mile round trip to a take away to get something to eat.

Bar service fine - young lad very friendly and helped with directions and recommendations. Satisfactory for one night stay at price paid
No bulbs in lamp. No towels in room. Ran out of toilet roll in shared bathroom. Inside drawers dirty.

I booked on line on 19th Aug. when I rang to check on Friday 23rd it seemed the booking hadn't come through from booking.com. whether or not they had checked, I don't know how it works, but I was a bit concerned.. the room was noisy as traffic passed close to the window, which we needed open because it was hot night. We were off the main A55 road but hadn't realised the A5 took so much traffic. it was ok though, I put my sleeplessness down to the late coffee I had rather than the noise. I cannot answer q6 as we were just passing through.
The rooms were pleasant and clean, and had all the amenities we needed.
There was considerable noise from the bar below the rooms on the Thursday night, making it difficult to sleep. The Sunday night was much better, though.
Breakfast freshly made---very good
- old door locks---danger to lock your self out - one of the personell was quite unmotivated to help us.
nothing to like poor service lack of cleanileness very dated a bit of a nightmare really!!
Location good friendly staff large room. Only reason we stayed was because the bed linen was clean, myself and my wife wanted to leave but it was late and we could get in anywhere else.
Omg where do we start - on arrival met by staff smoking outside so nobody inside to greet us. We were then shown to our room which was furnished with cheap secondhand furniture and towels! The bathroom had mobile fittings on bath and handbasin, dirty shower curtain and toilet brush!!!!! Disgusting!!! Fireplace in room had remments of ash so when did we have a cold day? Definitely could do with a revamp outside and in. We will not recommend this place to anyone and have done so.
The bar manager Kevin phoned to ask what time we were arriving as a courtesy call. He was very friendly to me my husband my children and my mum who is disabled. He kept asking my mum was she ok and could she manage. Breakfast in the morning was lovely too. On the whole couldnt fault the place really
Didnt like the rooms were split apart thought when it was booked we had joining rooms. Only got one choice of breakfast my daughter didnt eat meat and was given a full breakfast. Although toast was offered.
Great food and friendly staff
Quite noisy - thin walls and floors and on a main road
The price was excellent and the staff were very friendly.
Rooms were small and most pictures advertised en-suite which was not the case.
