The comfortable room. Only 2 Tea Bags for use in the room - this was very mean. 4-6 Tea Bags |

nice rooms, good break fast near centre , good river walks we felt misled. the spa did not have a sauna or hot room it was treatment only and expensive, this was not clear. also i could not use most of the machines in the gym i was to tall and hit the cieling , there where drain problems in the womens changing rooms and women cleaner came in mens changing rooms while i was changing. couldnt tune in the telly |

Good location to Rail Station and City centre bars, shops and restaurants. Room was hot at night even with the lowest aircon setting. Room had too much furniture in it, there was not enough room for the relaxing chair and stool. Swimming pool was not very warm and lighting very made it very dark. |

Convenient for shops and restaurants Not enough carparking spaces. Being charged £10.00 to use the hotel carpark for 24hrs. I think a better free system could be put in place for hotel visitors. |

Comfortable bed, clean room. No biscuits in the room with tea/coffee making facilities. Had difficulty turning on shower temperature control which was very stiff. Had to request toast for breakfast with no indication that you needed to do so (cheap bread); generally not keen on buffet breakfast as the quality suffers. |

very good food in resturant and very helpful and plesent resturant staff Requested a cot when I booked and it was confirmed there was one available, asked again when we checked in 6pm said they would get us one, by 10pm still no cot bed eventually they borrowed one from a nearby hotel. This is very poor. Parking also a farce. Pool cold not 29 degrees as stated on wall. |

The room was comfortable and clean. Nice bathroom. Not very personable. Car parking was hopeless.Staff not particularly helpful or accomodating. Hotel lacks character/feel good factor. |

The room size was excellent and decor in room and corridors was calming and very clean. Very well positioned for the city centre. The fact that there was no natural air - air conditioning only in the rooms. I would also have liked a bath in the bathroom - although it was a fabulous shower. Also pillows were far too small. |

Excellent friendly staff, very willing to accomodate as we were travelling with our 11 month old son. 14m swimming pool also a bonus. Location ideal for our visit. |

I liked the fact that the fitness centre and pool are open 24 hours. I liked the efficiency and friendliness of the hotel staff. Not the best location but still within walking distance of Bristol Old Town ann the shops |

Was easy to find the hotel and car park was around the back. Didn't try the food as we only had a room rate. We were offered breakfast at a discounted rate of £10 per person when we checked in. Also you could have upgraded your room for another £10 I was hoping like alot of 4 star hotels with Spa and pool facilities it would of had a sauna. Quite a bit of dust in the room when I used the iron. |

The reception staff were very helpful and the room was extremely quiet. The breakfast was not very warm to begin with, so soon went very cold! |

From the outside Mercure looks unimpressive, but inside it has a nice modern luxurious feel and doesn't feel cheap like some hotels can. Upgraded the room for additional £10 which was a good decision. Slept very well on the Kingsize bed! |

The hotel was well located, easy to find, offered good facilities, comfortable room, a good breakfast. Service was good and we encountered no problems. Thought that the car park fees of £10 per day were a little high. |
