If your looking for a cheap hotel, safe area, clean rooms with the trade-off of small rooms, not great facilities - this is for you - I used it twice for business in London. - Good value - Good location (but 20 minute walk to tube (High Street Kensington)
Small rooms 20 minute walk to tube (High Street Kensington)
limited breakfast choices
Price and location were excellent
Drain in my shower took ages to empty and there was no remote for the TV
Polite efficient helpful. Separate shower and loo in practical small 3 single bedded clean and comfortable room with fridge TV and safe. Private-no "inhouse" noise.. Just what we needed really.Busyish road but double glazed however cold winter and actually rather too warm so had to have window open ( better than to cold.). Desk staffed all night-very helpful if needed.. Basement dining area for B'fast bijou with TV, spotlessly clean and satisfactory b'fast cornflakes juice coffee eggs range good jams and marmalade. Need better info on site re underground-is Shepherds bush and walk/bus c1/49 or the No 9 24/7 great upstairs trip in past Knightsbridge St James Pall mall etc. to Covent Garden-all on your Oyster card.6 pounds 50 per day. GREAT Chinese takeaway and minimart one block away.
Bit too hot.
Bus stop in front of the hotel, clean, nice staff. A good place if you wanna more privacy than in a hostel for a cheap price.
My room was very small, but that's okay if you don't have to much luggage. My mattress was with a kind of hole in the middle, kind of uncomfortable.
not too far from underground station
The shower was over the toilet so you could sit on the loo and have a shower at the same time if you wanted to???
Clean room. Close to city center.
Receptionist didnt inform us about check in/out time, breakfeast serving time and place. Wifi is not free - 4£/2hours, and connection is really poor.
location is nice
Not comfortable so smelly in the room , It is not a high efficiency choice
The bed was comfortable and the en suite convenient. There were facilities for coffee/tea making. The staff were pleasant.
The continental breakfast was very basic - just bread for toasting and butter and jam, etc. plus hard boiled eggs.
The towels and sheets were clean.
The air was full of mould in room 25. We had to shut the window with flimsy locks to stop unwanted visitors off the street, despite needing the ventilation. Canceling was not possible. Should not be on booking.com.
Breakfast was good
My room was extremely small and very very hot!!! I had the window open all night which meant I could hear noisy traffic all night and also had the fan on and just a sheet on my bed. The heating was off and I could not find out why the room was so hot.
Location, price both very good
Breakfast room is very cramped and if you are travelling with an elderly person as we were, it is down a very steep flight of stairs.
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, only a few minutes walk from Olypmia which was reason for our trip.
The room was a little small
Room was so stuffy I couldn't breathe properly even with window open.
Unlike other budget hotels this one was very friendly! Room was very tiny (if you put your case on the floor you couldn't open the door!) so was the ensuite shower (with loose toilet lid) but it was OK - absolutely no luxury whatsoever but a safe cheap and quiet room convenient for Olympia.
Siueof the room was ok including dbl bed. Personal friendly.
Hair on towels and on my bedding of one of the staff members I suppose. Noise. The room was next to the dining area. Some sockets hidden behind bed, not able to use catle.
Nice and friendly staff Very cheap
Wi-Fi is 4 pounds per hour
bathroom was ok. Staff were very friendly
First week I didn't have a window, was a lot like what I would imagine a prison cell to be like. Breakfast room is very small and cramped, more than 6 people and you can't get in.
Good value for money location-wise What you'd expect from a 2- star hotel
Walls were pretty thin
Some friendly staff.
The bed (metal base) was extremely uncomfortable, "double room" was tiny, hole kicked in bathroom door, carpet stained, scratched walls, cold, miserable and very disappointing.
It was very small room for two people, I had to pay for wi-fi per 2 hours, I have to pay for my luggage to stay in the hotel for 3 hours.
Size of bedroom + shower
Food was good and the lady in the breakfast room very friendly
Room not very comfortable. Wanted a double bed but instead had two singles pushed together. Walls very thin.
Small family room,no lift, tiny shower and toilet.
