Location near by lots of restaurants
Train station noise
The bedrooms are a nice size we had a bathroom and it was good, confortable bed and clean. It had a fridge and coffe and tea can be made in the bedroom. Wifi is free. The location is fantastic about a 5minute walk from the station.
The breakfast is a bit poor its not a real continental breakfast and they need to clean the table better. As it's so close to the railway they need sound proofing because I like trains but all night long is a bit to much.
-very small room -even more small WC/shower . So small that you can not sit and keep your legs in front of toilet bowl -poor facilities -will no stay here any more
Dirty rooms, unfriendly staff, slow wifi.
the location was perfect for what I needed to do in London and the staff were pleasant and helpful
Could have a bit more variety for breakfast - some fruit and yogerts
location is the only positive
very small rooms, dirty, bad smell, you could hear what people doing in next door, very, very poor breakfast. toillet very small and not clean , will not came back to this place.
Near train station really noisy
Closeness to travel agencies shopping and the fact that it is right in center town.
Rooms to tight and small. Head boards old and dirty. Bathroom too small. Furnishings are outdated. It also said Continental breakfast included. What is provided in the morning falls short of a continental breakfast. It should say toast provided with jam and or butter. But your location is very good. If rooms are improved upon, then many people will sure their stay there.
Very close to Victoria and main attraction of London within walking reach
To Small Room, just the bed
The bed, I booked a single and they gave me a double.
WIFI DOESN'T WORK AT ALL Staff impolite and intrusive: they knocked on the door when I was in for cleaning my room, they asked me at least three times when I would check out (as I was only bothering them); they speak Hindi among them, so you think and are quite sure they're complaining about you. Breakfast poor and artificial, solubile coffee, cold milk, bitter orange juice.
Bathroom.. the smallest I have ever seen.
Tiny bathroom which had a horrible smell Not warned trains run every 10 mins Windows filthy
Dirty and dusty Hotel. I dont Advise anyone to stay
3 minute walk from Victoria Station and 10 minute walk from Buckingham Palace Staff very nice Continental breakfast is just that...cereal, toast, juice, coffee and tea....enough to start the day Bed comfortable, room clean
Overwhelming smell of curry as you enter Holly House Breakfast facilities very small Bathroom ensuite very small.....not adequate for someone who is very tall and/or broad
Staff are very friendly and ready to serve you. Everything is clean, I didn't see any dirt either in the room or in the hall etc. The furnuture is not new, but comfortable, and linen and towels are new and good, besides, they're ready to clean the room every day. Teabags, sugar and dry milk bags in the room, together with a kettle and cups. TV in the room as well. Location is OK, the trains nearby didn't disturb me, but yes, the railways are fairly near. Breakfast was typical - toasts, butter, jam, milk and cornflakes for free and unlimited :)) As to WiFi, I didn't ask nor found any. I'll definetely come again if I need a good cheap hotel innthe centre. Wish them good luck!
The smallest bathrooms I've seen. In the morning you can check in and leave your baggage, but can't take the room until 2pm
Location is good, staff friendly and helpful
Unpleasant smell in the room
Location. Quick check-in. Friendly staff. En-suite. Fairly clean.
Room not in Holly House but the Alexander a few doors down. Although bedding clean mattress soiled with no protector. Curtains didnt block morning sunlight/street lights and were too short. Front ground floor window opened wide by staff after check-in while belongings in room. Room next to front door that could be heard banging closed. Drab decoration.
The location was excellent, 5 minutes from Victoria Coach and Train Station. Staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was more of a bed and breakfast with about 12 rooms. For the price you pay it was just right especially as the location was so good.
Our room was number 12 which was on the top floor which meant four flights of stairs, after a long day out this was the last thing you needed before you could get to your room. I recommend lower room numbers which means less stairs, although some of these rooms on the lower floors had shared bathrooms which I did not want but that was my personal choice. Also no air conditioning, although a fan was provided the rooms got very hot and the fan was of little help.
Location was ideal for what I needed.
Room was effectively a corridor and a box room, cobbled together into a single bedroom, no hanging space, amateur bathroom.
I did not like the way they cheated by converting the bill into euros without asking me first.
Some noise from trains
location. convenience to Victoria Train & coach Stations.
