Score from 152 reviews Good
Very friendly professional great place for a stop over
Location was good for travelling with easy walking distance into town
Room could do with more lighting with better coffee facilities
Owners were very pleasant people and the facilities were first rate. Very very comfortable stay.
Friendly, sociable staff.
It was a warm evening, so kept the bedroom window open, wrong decision, to much traffic noise, next time will keep window SHUT.
Cleanliness, breakfast, bed, nice view over garden, wild rabbits
TV a bit small, had to replace kettle which did not work
The service was friendly and helpful
There was no area outside that accommodated smoking guests. Seating and a table would have been nice
The accommodation was big and airy . Bathroom ensuit was maintained well .Breakfast was all you generally have in a English Breakfast. The couple was very efficiently handling everything. I was pleasently surprised when I was handed over a fan which I had requested by email .Close to a market are where you can find some food joints and takeaway's. Parking available for free. Wifi was better in their lounge .
Nothing as such. The food joint's close to the area are not very good one's. You got to be careful on this.
Busy road during the day
1) There was no decaff coffee in my room - I was given some in a cafetiere but it was absolutely awful. 2) no choice of pillows and all made of jelly. 3) no heating on - chilly August! 4) Breakfast beans cheap quality 5) Toast hardly browned and came with main meal so went cold. 6) The hotel is also a long way out of Alsager. I had been walking all day and it was a lot further than I thought it would be. Only little things but Premier Inns do them all better in spades.
Breakfast was really good with Fresh Coffee. Comfy bed and all very clean
nothing really if i'm being picky it's probably decorated in the 80's style.
The hotel was clean and convinient. The staff were welcoming and chatty
It was on a main road which was busy . The curtains were not adequate to keep the room dark. The walls thin, could hear every word from tv in next room at 7am sunday morning!
Hotel was on main road overlooking lovely green areas so it felt like being in the country. Although we arrived too late to book dinner at the hotel, there was a good pub serving meals within walking distance. Rooms very bright and cheerful & beds very comfortable and clean with small but adequate toilet and shower room. Wall mounted flat screen TV with good reception. Breakfasts were excellent in a very nice dining room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money and we felt it was more like 3 star than 2 star. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.
Traffic noise when sleeping at the front of the hotel might not suit everyone, but we pulled the window almost shut and didn't hear it, nor did the room get too hot during the night.
good location. good room good food good staff
Nice friendly staff, great breakfast and on the edge of a very nice village with pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Spot on.
Bar a bit pricey, but there's two bars that serve food only mins away so no biggie, that's it!
Good location and close to M6. Good breakfast choice including full english.
Simple and efficient
A good old fashioned bed and breakfast, fantastic value for money. Very clean and tidy.
Clean, comfortable and well maintained room in a good position for the business traveller.
Very friendly, helpful people, nothing was too much. I would go and stay there again given halve a chance,
Friendly welcome. comfortable bed. good english breakfast.
we were on the front and with the window open we could hear the sound of the traffic .Light sleepers might wish to ask for a rear bedroom if available.
Owner very friendly. Handy location for motorway travel. Price is good value.
It is clean and fulfils our basic needs. I like in particular the price since we only wanted a bed for the night.
breakfast and dining room were good standard
bedroom very poor standard of furniture and décor outdated bathroom in need of grouting didn't use shower because of mould around shower door and base very worn
