Situated in picturesque Stornoway, 4-star family-run Holm View Guest House is on the east coast of the Hebridean Isle of Lewis, a short journey from the ferry terminal and airport. Holm View Guest House offers comfortably furnished, spacious rooms, all with a satellite TV and sound system. Some rooms have panoramic views and free Wi-Fi internet access is available. There is also separate cottage accommodation. The guest house has a tranquil position, with stunning views towards the Isle of Skye. The surrounding area boasts spectacular beaches and beautiful scenery. An light continental-style breakfast is included, served by the friendly, helpful staff. Lovely guest house, two to three miles outside of Stornoway town centre and looking out onto the bay. The ensuite room we had was beautiful and spacious with stunning views and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again / recommend. Thank you!

We had warm welcome, straight away we were made to feel this was our home for the next few days.We are a family of six and we all felt we had space in comfortable surroundings. We felt as though the space was our own there was no pressure to be out of the home or down for meals at certain times. It was great to see the owner who did have pleasant convesartion with us and he was there to give guidance and advice interested to ensureour stay was a good one on ly at Holm view but in Stornoway its self. There was not anything we did not like.

It was a short trip from the Ferry, Mr D. Martin was a great host, and made our stay very enjoyable, I would stay there again.

Very kind and helpful, cosy and heartwarming service! Beautiful room, was nice to fall asleep and listen to the sea. Holm View Guest House was a perfect start for my trip in Outer Hebrides! Thank you very much!

Holm View is a lovely b&b, we had a big, clean, comfortable room with a great view. Not far from town centre and great beach nearby. Mr Martin was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, would definitely recommend / stay again

Very comfortable, clean and with a nice family touch. Very nice and helfpul host, good service, providing information that was very valuable to us. We are happy to come back and sit outside for breakfast by the sea. Consider the distance to Stornoway and local services. Good to have your own car. No complaints against the guest house :)

The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation enabled us to relax and to enjoy a restful break. Being able to come and go as we pleased made our few days at Holm View ideal. As we were traveling with our dogs the accommadation layout was great. Internet and mobile phone access was difficult, however the owner is in the process of improving this situation.

Limited and inadequate breakfast, bathroom refurbishment not completed. No waste paper basket provided in bedroom and inadequate storage facilities ie toiletries, and no wardrobe provided for hanging of clothes
