Fantastic warm welcome and relaxing stay in a perfect house
An amazing location, friendly couple and lovely food.
We were greeted personally on arrival by the owners, who did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant one, including running us to the pub so we could both have a drink! Excellent breakfasts. A most interesting house. We hope to return.
Very welcoming owners, comfortable rooms, lovely views on South Downs. Convenient location 15 minute drive from Glyndebourne. Nice pub and restaurant 5 minute drive or 30 minutes walk through the golf course (the Gun).

Beautiful country home with lots of character. Lovely hosts, great breakfast and an unbelievably comfortable bed.
We love this b and b and have returned here for another stay. The rooms are delightful..large and full of beautiful furniture. The breakfast is delicious and the welcome sincere from Carole and her husband. We hope to return again.
Beautiful country house with interesting features. Very spacious house and grounds. Great breakfast. Attentive staff/owner.
Lovely garden views
Dusty bath, no bottled water in the room, poor continental breakfast and somehow just misses the mark.
Art deco bathroom and character of the property
Poor continental breakfast; out of date cereal Poor welcome, hostess seemed nervous and anxious - warm welcome with tea and cake would have helped Suspicion that owners do not like guests who are not adult so if you have children don't go Dark lounge with a suite of furniture out of character with property No bottled water in the room and poor selection of biscuits No warning beforehand that payment had to be cash or via internet
