Andy and Sue are both very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Very good value for money.
Very welcoming and helpful.
The rooms were lovely and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.
We stayed with another couple and their room was considerably larger than ours despite us paying the same price.
We stayed for 2 nights with young children in the York Room. Very quiet at night. Very comfortable beds. Quite basic but very clean and just what we wanted for a short stay at reasonable cost. Good location, half way between the tower and pleasure beach. Not far from a tram stop so was ideal. Three flights of stairs to the bedroom with no lift, didnt matter to us though. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
From the moment we arrived (a little late due to weather and traffic) we were treated fantastically. The owner took us to the sitting area and let us catch our breathe before he showed us to our room. The room was amazing and my children who haf never stopped in a hotel before were overwhelmed. Breakfast was fantastic pretty much what we wanted we had. Over all an brilliant place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone :-)
Fab bed, so comfortable. Lovely room and en -suite. Modern facilitities and tv and lovely and warm. Extra friendly proprietor and staff. Will definitely stay there next time.
Friendly guest house with a great host. Bedroom was well decorated and well looked after. I would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Blackpool
Breakfast. Comfy room.
Parking is limited, some areas of bnb a little run down. I would recommend this hotel to people with out families.
Was pleasantly surprised with the Holmlea. We stayed in the family room which was so comfy, fresh and spacious. Had a great nights sleep and a tasty breakfast in the morning! The location is ideal situated between the pleasure beach and the tower but just off the main promenade and away from any potential noise! Andy and Sue were great hosts, down to earth and made us all feel welcome! Would definitely stay again!
Lovely break from start to finish. On arrival we were greated by Andrew. Such a lovely man. We were made very welcome. The hotel is beautiful, situated in a quiet area which was great. The room was very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Lots of choice. Thank you so much for making us feel very welcome. Hopefully we will see u again very soon.
Staff were brilliant Breakfast was fabulous The room was comfortable We requested a large bed and we got what we asked for Tea/Coffee facilities in room and fresh milk always available.
We had to come home :/
Friendly owners, very clean and tidy room, superb breakfast, will definitely be going back.

The people who ran Holmlea were very nice and helpful. The place was clean and tidy and the breakfast was lovely. Ideal spot to get round blackpool wiyh everthing within walking distance.
off all the times we stayed in Blackpool this was our best stay yet. Andrew and Sue work very hard and are doing an amazing job. The breakfast was cooked to perfection nothing was too much trouble. Well done keep up the amazing job that you are doing. Will without a doubt be returning.
Room for a family was spacious and clean. Comfy beds. Very nice breakfast. Owners were lovely. We would stay again for the value.
Holmlea is an excellent choice! Not only is the hotel itself comfy, clean, beautiful and perfect location, but the staff are extremely nice! We had a late arrival and the man that runs the hotel was sweet enough to stay up late for us to let us in. Was extremely sweet and made us feel right at home! Will DEFINITELY be coming back to stay at Holmlea!
Alan and Susan worked really hard at making you feel welcome from stepping through the door to when you left. Breakfast was great, support with taxi's and ideas on where to visit was helpful too. Thank you for the effort you both put in it was really appreciated.
The bathroom looked a bit tired but the place is under renovation so I am sure you will get around to it. Two towels per person would be nice... But if we had asked for more I am sure you would have given them to us
No bar. Toilet seat broken.
Andy the owner was great, extremley friendly and welcoming. the location was great bang in the middle of Blackpool, so you had easy access to the Pleasure beach and the tower and all the bars at your door. Room was a good size. very friendly staff
my only issue was.. i had emailed the hotel and spoke with both Andy and his wife about organising a bottle of champagne and flowers as a surprise for my partner, as it was our 1 year anniversary, thinking it was all arranged for our arrival.. by chance i phoned the hotel on the morning of our arrival and none of it had been done, so that was a let down. Andy did apologies but i was gutted as it was a surprise, he did explain his mum had been in hospital so i did say for him to leave it and his wife was at work. the mod cons could do with an update, shower was old fashioned.
Friendly staff, good location extremely helpful
