On private grounds, just 5 minutes from Wrexham and only 15 minutes from the heart of Chester’s city center, this privately owned hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. The Holt Lodge has a good location, with easy access by road to both Wrexham and Chester. The coast of North Wales is also within easy reach. There are 36 comfortable rooms, all with private bathrooms and showers. All rooms have a telephone, a digital TV, a suit press, ironing facilities, a hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. In the evening, the beautifully furnished bistro offers an extensive menu and boasts a great reputation for excellent cuisine. For a quieter, more casual atmosphere, you can relax in the comfortable bar area. Tea, coffee and drinks are available all day. The Holt Lodge has its own parking lot at the rear of the hotel. Reasonably Priced Friendly staff Good quality and substantial breakfast Lift out of order. Tray left outside nearby room from around 7pm Saturday, still there 12:00 noon Sunday.

The noise from above. People running in the hall way after mid night. And a constant humming that never stopped nearly drove me insane! He mould in the bathroom turned my stomache Domestos bleach will sort that out.

Nice place to stop over on a business trip. Not a lot in the area around the hotel but the hotel itself had a nice bar and restaurant. Plenty of parking and free wifi in rooms. Staff very friendly. Wrexham town centre itself was a bit disappointing.

Nice atmosphere in bar/restaurant/lounge I would stay again if working in the area - particularly in Summer time Room was cold on entry and took all evening to warm Bath water was not warm enough so I added a couple of kettles of boiling water Needs a sign on the eastern approach to indicate entrance is after the hotel building
