Very helpful propieters who came and rescued me when I got lost!
Lovely hosts very accomadating.a pleasure to stay here
The owners of Holyhead Lodge were absolutely lovely! They look after their guests like at no other place!
Handy for getting anywhere in Holyhead
Mel and Pearl were great hosts Great food
Lovely, attentive hosts. Excellent, comfortable accommodation in good very quiet location ideal for Holyhead ferry terminal, railway station, A5 / A55 road links and exploring Anglesey and North Wales. Looking forward to visiting again as soon as I can.
The landlord couple are so nice.
Very happy with our stay at Holyhead and found our hosts very friendly and helpful.
nothing we didnt like
close to port.
I can't fault the place, really nice.
A gorgeous room with fridge very clean, the owners went out of their way to ensure a lovely stay, the owner even took me down to the countrypark to show me where my event would be starting. Breakfast was lovely a great choice and all homemade. Absolutly recommended for a friendly homely feel.
Assistance and friendliness of the owners was much appreciated.
We were in an outside room, perhaps a converted stable or garage. It was just too small. With our luggage there was literally no floor space. It served a purpose until we could get our hire car the next day. It's a single room at best.
The man who helped us on arrival and the next morning couldn't have done better. He was great. It's a quiet town so there was no difficulty getting to bed and having a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very good.
nothing was to dislike with this one.
I've been to some hotels in my time but this one beats the lot. I'd go back to this one each and every time it's that good. the hosts couldn't have been nicer.
the cabins, lodges? smelt and needed airing, bed weird, and being greeted by dogs you felt you were intruding, also too much clutter in the yard ,it felt like trying to squeeze a lot of stuff in a small space. The place has potential needs professionelising
the main house looked interesting the rooms might have been ok staff pleasant
I had a delightful time. The staff were friendly and helpful beyond the usual. It was like coming to stay with family friends.
Very warm welcome. Breakfast could not have been better. The room was very warm and comfortable. Pearl and Mel were anxious to please and succeeded.
Room was a bit small and cluttered. In the bathroom you had to be a contortionist to reach the toilet roll. The toilet seat did not stay up which is annoying for a man.
We were made very welcome and were offered and enjoyed a cafetiere of coffee,
Staff over friendly, suitable for many guests but a bit overbearing for those who wish to remain private..
Comfortable accommodation, good nights sleep
The minute I got out of the taxi it looks like a run down house from view with a few dogs running abt freely on the driveway and gardens. Then your taking to a old shed garage type room on the out side building next dr to a big caravan .i couldn't of changed my mind and asked for a full refund as the minute I booked 2 mths before hand the whole 100euro taken from my account with no refund.i was thinking I only had to pay a deposit had time.and at time of booking in I was told the landlady was away. So that night we had checked in at 17:00 we were asked what time we wanted breakfast at we booked in for 9am and told him what we wanted at 9am as we had a return sailing at 10am that morning .as there was nothing near here or nowhere to go we stayed in. Next morning at 9am we went into their house into the breakfast room we had to order are breakfast again then at 09:45am we still weren't served we were just abt to leave the lady finally brings it in we hadn't the time to eat as we had to run for the boat.they told us it was a 5minute walk in fact we had to run for 15minute ,the ramp had to be lowered for us as we nearly missed . Now I have wrote to booking .com abt this and they say it's up to holyhead lodge to get in touch it's now 5 days no calls or email it's a total rip of I could have got a good hotel for that money I will never stay in this place again .
Can't think of anything...
Nice people, lovely breakfast. Just fine!!
The steps to the house where breakfast was served were difficult for disabled people-the bedrooms were in a separate building.
Holyhead lodge offered a friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent-well prepared, hot and well presented. It was an ideal place to stay to catch the ferry.
What fantastic hosts- all smiles and dry towels when when we arrived by bike in the pouring rain at 1am! Best cooked breakfast of the holiday and every little extra thoughtfully provided
The Bed in our room could have been better
The very friendly and helpful couple who operate Holyhead Lodge. Pearl and Mal are a great couple
