Location was fantastic and excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again next time we head to Edinburgh.
Great location and close by to the Royal Mile. Tesco is 2 minutes walk away. Holyrood Parliament building is 5 minutes walk. The apartment was clean and tidy with an ensuite within the master bedroom. The main bathroom was contained a bath as well as a shower and were maintained to a high standard. The kitchen facilities were excellent.
When the hot water was turned on a loud noise rumbling could be heard. Presumably this was the boiler. Annoying at night time. The view from our room wasn't the greatest but was minor considering the fact we spent most of our day out and about.
Clean and comfortable. Even had milk in the fridge!
- A quiet place with excellent accommodation; - All very clean and organized; - Easy access to bus and historical center;
Some noisy young guys chatting loudly outside late on.
The apartment was big and comfortable, had all the domestic appliances needed. Very near the Royal Mile, Arthur's seat and Holyrood Palace.
The only downsides: the windows let in a lot of the street's noise, the bed covers were a bit old and dirty (although everything else was very clean), there should be instructions to use the domestic appliances in other languages. Nevertheless, these are minor aspects and I would stay there again.
Kitchen facilties and the bathroom were better than usual for an appartment hotel and were much apprieciated.
Having to pay for Wi Fi in room. Although central it was a little difficult to find, some more directions in advance would have helped.
The location was super - city central, but tucked away & quiet.
The room was not ready for us until after 2pm, so we were left hanging around. Then when we tried the lift, it was full of workmen and their gear. Eventually we were able to get up to our room - decidedly unimpressed!
Location, Value, Standard of accommodation all great. Would stay again.
Had noisy neighbors, don't think it was deliberate but you could hear every door closing and talking late at night. Parking limited.
Apartments are very comfortable, stylish & well looked after. Disability bathroom is good. Apartments were lovely & warm considering how cold it was outside. Located close to the mile, Dynamic Earth & Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle & loads more!! Kitchen well kitted out if you want to cook. Washer/dryer is fab idea, especially if you end up getting soaked with the rain. Love the apartments. Always recommend to friends looking for a stay.
Only a very very minor point. We have a wheelchair user with us, which is why the apartments are brilliant for us to use. It's very hard to get someone in a wheelchair in for meals in the restaurants, some are very small or have stairs and the larger ones are always so busy. We either cook or use take away, so it would be handy if reception/apartment could maybe have tel nos of local restaurants for takeaway? Saves walking for hours!!
We stayed for two nights, there was a very good discount on the price and it was really worth it. The place was big and clean with two separate bed rooms with a hall way and a well maintained kitchen with a dishwasher. Everything was just a perfect for the price we paid. Friendly staff btw.
The apartment was so spacious and clean, it was a home away from home. Loved my stay here and would definitely return!
The doors all close behind you so it was a bit annoying trying to walk from one room to the other with your hands full - totally minor issue though! The rest was great :)
It's a great place with the advantages of both a hotel and an apartment. It's comfortable and a stone's throw from Holyrood Park.
The wi-fi was rather expensive and inflexible. I don't want to pay per 24 hrs if most of the time I am away. I chose not to use it. If it could be purchased per hour I would have used this facility.
Spacious, well equipped. Close to Holyrood. Good value
Cost of wifi ( free if you book direct with hotel)
One minor issue: we had a double room with a kitchen, but the table intended for dining would only seat one person and so we had to eat in bed. A slightly larger table would be perfect.
Great location and very quiet, however a little dark and isolated in the evenings. Ideal for families having a separate bedroom for children
Apartment starting to look tatty. Dishwasher out of order. Very noisy water system which continued after running water for 5 minutes
Great Location, secure building, parking, 2 bathrooms, kitchen with all needed requirements.
Having to leave
A wonderfully convenient location.
Several appliances in the three apartments we rented did not work. Our safe, our towel rail, the washing machine in our grandchild's apartment none were repaired while we were there.
The apartments were so conveniently located - right off the Royal Mile and really near to Holyrood Park which meant we could leave to climb Arthur's Seat at 9.15am, and clamber back down to hotel for 11.15 am for shower before check out. It saved us a lot of hassle in transport. The Tesco and Pizza Express a few minutes away was also really convenient. Amazing facilities in apartment - fully fitted kitchen with cooking utensils, lovely fittings and furniture, spotless rooms and beautifully equipped. Water was hot and bathroom had really nice White Company shampoo and lotion. Definitely one of the best places I've stayed in, initially worried slightly when I read the reviews but instantly evaporated when we walked into the 2 bed, 2 bath apartment number 400. Had a good TV and really quiet at night - we enjoyed ourselves immensely in the flat given that we spent our nights cooking and watching telly as it was too cold to head out! All in all, amazing value for money and would definitely recommend.
All the doors slammed shut which was a bit tedious as they were loud, but easy to get around them (we held them open with various objects). Floors creaked slightly but only noticeable when walking around late at night to use the bathroom. Beds were a little springy but didn't bother me hugely - my friends didn't complain either. Wifi wasn't free so we didn't use it - each of us was on our data networks so didn't affect us much.
Closeness to centre of the city - we walked everywhere. Good size two bedroom apartment for three of us. Very comfortable.
The sound of the water pump in the bathroom.
Near the Royal Mile, Best location, comfortable and nice stuff.
Really clean and cosy and great location
The hobs weren't working properly. Otherwise, all other facilities were in excellent condition and working ok.
Very good location and an excellent double bedroom apartment.
Staff unhelpful rude
Bed very small valance sheet dirty very noisy, overlooked, no curtains, just a roller blind. so very bright in the morning can't open blinds unless fully dressed people in building across the lane looking in. The full hotel is overlooked. Please don't do this to yourself avoid
The location at the bottom of the Royal Mile is excellent and the availability of parking in town very useful.
The mattress on our bed is showing signs of age. Not as comfortable as when we first stayed. The room prices seem to be rising faster than average too. We will review our choices on the next trip.
