the rooms were clean and the food good the facilities as good as most places I have stayed The were a number of annoyances they had no record of our breakfast reservation on the first morning we waited an hour for breakfast on the second morning because they thought we were a party of 6 not 2 and the pool and gym closed at 8 on sunday not 9 as was advertised in the literature |

General facilities - room and suana First time ever I've had to wait for breakfast. The delay lasted 30 minutes and the hotel run out of seats for people waiting. However, the breakfast itself was fine. |

Pleasant, friendly staff. Spacious clean room. Nice bathroom. Quiet. A bit further out of the city than I expected to be. |

SKY TV in the room and most everything else. Quiet. Relaxing. Cold. A/C heater on and couldn't sleep due to humming. TV set antiquated. Friends who stayed in another room received chocolates and had dressing gowns. We didn't. Jealous. |

The location was excellent, the staff were helpful, facilities were good, room was very comfortable and lovely and quiet. TV in room could have been situated a little higher, shower leaked onto bathroom floor a little. |

Lovely room. Very quiet, spacious, comfortable, and great bathroom. Good spa facilities. Very friendly staff. The hotel is a walk from the main city centre - the Royal Mile and the shopping area, but that did make the hotel quieter. Drinks in bar far too expensive! |

The service was nice, the room was cleaned and silence. Alle needs (free served coffee and tea, fan, iron etc.) were offered. We had to pay for the breakfast (10£) which was rich in quantity and quality. With your booking you have the opportunity to use the hotel owned Spa. The hotel is localate next to the parliament which is at the border from "old town". You walk about 5/10 Minutes to the center of old town. If you pay with visa they charge you an amount (not for the room just for breakfast and drinks). |

The friendliness of the staff. Cleanliness of room. The view from the room was not very good as it was of a concrete car park. |

It was nice to have the use of a swimming although rather small. It is quite first thing in the morning and therefore size did not matter. |

Very central location. Spa facilities good.Friendly and helpful staff. I paid £180.00 for two nights in a pretty mediocre room,(shower tiles in need of re-grouting, old fashioned TV) by today's standards and breakfast was not included. I hadn't noticed this when I booked some time ago and was really disappointed to discover that this was the case when we arrived. I stay in a range of really good hotels with my work and thought that this was a pretty poor deal for this time of year. |
