The warm welcome and advice on local pubs and restaurants; the quiet rural surrounds and view over the fields; the beautiful spacious apartment, fit to spend an extended period of time in. Certainly worth while to come back and stay longer to explore this easily overlooked but lovely corner of England!

Having al fresco breakfast. Clean & comfortable room. Friendly hosts. Being disabled it was good to stumble to the pub next door for a meal ( & drinks) & stagger back!!

Had not realised that breakfast was self catering continental rather that Yorkshire Farmhouse home cooked.

We loved the beautiful garden area, the was a great deal of little extras thatade our stay, like sweet on the coffee table, bottle water in the fridge and the colour coordinating bathroom and towel ( not the normal white !!) . We wish we was staying for longer

Great position for notts/Sheffield area Professionalism and friendliness of proprietors Great room with mini kitchen en suite Expectations exceeded

Not a case of not liking, but wifi was a bit patchy the days we were there Would Have liked savoury options for breakfast eg marmite/peanut butter. These are tiny points and in no way class as negatives, this was a great place to stay

Our spacious room was a converted farm building that opened onto a small terrace with table and chairs where we ate, as the weather was lovely. The gardens beyond we're beautifully maintained and full of flowers. Our hosts, Mark and Jane could not have been more friendly. Very comfortable room and large modern bathroom. Flat screen TV and supply of DVD's. Breakfast supplies were in the room, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, orange juice, milk and bottled water in the fridge with bread, butter and spreads. There were plenty of cereals to choose from. The parking was on the premises and close to our room which was a short and level walk.

Had an excellent stay in the suite at Home Farm which justified its 5 star rating. Great location close to Bawtry centre, 20 minute walk or £5 taxi ride which you will need to book early on the day you plan to arrive as they get booked up quickly in the evening. Facilities are excellent for a B&B and Mark and Jane were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would stay again if visiting the area and would happily recommend a stay at Home Farm to other people.

This place was head and shoulders above anywhere I've stayed before. Spotlessly clean, extremely roomy and comfortable, gorgeous gardens and the owners are such genuinely nice, friendly people who will bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Bread, milk, jams and butter, bottles of orange and water along with a chocolate biscuit in fridge, selection of dvd's, it really is home from home. Had a lovely meal in Bawtry also which seems a lovely place and we will definitely be looking to visit again in the near future. Perfect weekend.

Excellent accommodation. A lovely large spotlessly clean room with such a comfortable bed. We received a very warm welcome to this B&B which is in a very quiet location yet within easy reach of Bawtry and the A1. Thank you Mark and Jane for a comfortable and relaxed stay.

The staff/owners were excellent and so accommodating to us travelling with three young children. The family accommodation was spacious, clean and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The wifi booster didn't seem to work for us.

I was in the small double, which is really more of a small cottage and is worthy of far more of a title than 'small double'! Fantastic and well put together accommodation. The location is great and right next to the local pub! It had all the comforts of a hotel but also is very like a self catering cottage, with all the ingredients to make a continental breakfast provided. Mark and Jane are excellent hosts, Mark even providing a bottle of homemade wine! I travel a lot for work and stay in a range of different accommodations and this is one of my favourites. I just wish I could've stayed longer! DO stay here!

Nothing not to like. If I have to pick anything at all, I would say that a slightly larger sofa would be nice, but I know it's a question of what can fit! I put fair for wifi as there was a small problem with it which was being fixed while I was there and so didn't actually use it! I believe it is all fine now.

Everything about our stay was great ! Mark and Jane are so welcoming and friendly that I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are traveling with young kids. Cottage was very cozy; landscape from our bedroom was beautiful. Perfect i every sense, will possibly stay there again if we go for a visit again to Yorkshire or Derby.

Didn't have WiFi. But we had our own dongle, so managed okay.

Made to feel very welcome and felt really looked after. Shown to our room and talked us through everything we needed to know to make our stay comfortable. Left us to enjoy the accommodation, knowing we only had to ask if we needed anything. Peaceful location with beautiful views across fields behind. Safe enclosed space in front where our 3 yr old could play. Super clean, comfortable furnishings and very spacious. Definitely stay again.

    Nothing.

The owners couldn't have been more helpful, everything was just as we like it and even our playful banter was taken in the very best of spirits. We would have absolutely no reservations about staying here again.
