Brilliant stay in every way, great location near the Cam river and colleges, free wifi and even on site parking. We stayed in the small double room which was quiet and pleasantly sunlit and breakfast was 4star. The host does everything with soft spoken class that is a rarity to find today. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. Room was a good size and very clean and comfortable. Location was close enough to the centre of Cambridge to allow a leisurely walk to the attractions and the off-road parking, included in the price, was very convenient. Breakfasts were excellent.

The hotel was about 15 mins from the town centre. We arrived early and there was no problem with leaving our luggage. As it turned out, the room was ready for us. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. An impressive selection to choose from. Wi-Fi was freely available.

one mini mini criticism......we weren't aware that the central heating would stay on all night....we awoke in the small hours absolutely boiling !....suggest you advise people to turn down the radiators before going to bed. Other than that - perfect

The room and bathroom had everything you could need and was beautifually clean and comfortable. The breakfast had the biggest choice you could imagine and all tasty and generous.

staff was amazing. breakfast very good. while the house itself didn't have a great atmosphere the room was really welcoming and cozy. The free parking was a plus. close to a bus station.

Very friendly management and staff. Room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and I was able to relax. No need to reserve parking. Good choice of food for breakfast (including full English/vegetarian cooked breakfast!). Free Wifi. Central location but not too noisy. The name suits the spirit of the place. :)

The shower was definately no larger than necessary - but I would definitely stay there again.

the owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them, they had good local knowledge and were very helpful in all aspects during our stay.

Our stay at Home from Home was excellent, we wanted a night away to go christmas shopping and were overjoyed with the room and the huge bed which was very comfortable. Very friendly people who run this B&B and lovely breakfast. would definatly return. Thankyou Home from Home.

Third time we have stayed there. It is so convenient. Only a ten minute walk to the City Centre. As usual rooms were spotlessly clean and breakfast was superb. Would recommend Home from Home to everyone.

The owners and staff were very welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to help with trips out etc. The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. One of the best B&B breakfasts I had had in a long time. Didn't need any lunch that day! There were lots of extras in the room that made the stay all that more comfortable. We wanted to be somewhere that was within walking distance of the accommodation. A 15 minute walk and we were in the centre of the town. No problem with that distance. Well done Home from Home for a lovely stay.

The owner and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Room was clean and well equipped. Vincent was very helpful giving directions into town and making suggestions as to activities.

I stayed in the bungalow which serves not only as accomodation rooms, but as the breakfast room and office. The rooms are not at all soundproof. From my room, the sounds of the kitchen and doors was incredibly loud. The staff voices as they went about their business was clearly heard in the room. This noise started early in the morning, so if you want to sleep late and get a later start, you won't be able to. If you are an early riser and expect to be out and about all day, then this would not be a big deal. They were having plumbing issues and the toilet only flushed sometimes.

Home from Home was conveneiently located for a pleasant 15 min walk, mainly through the park, to the City Centre. It had plenty of free parking and the owners/ staff were friendly and helpful. The family room was larger than expected and very well equiped. We would happily stay here again.

If you had a wide car you might struggle to get into the car park as the entrance appears narrow, no problem for our family sized hatchback though.
