Homelye Farm has been converted to a very high standard, the room stayed in (Dobin) was excellent. the breakfast room was to a great place to enjoy breakfast. Recommended for standsted and a genral weekend away.

the only very very slight comment might be about the parking area outside the rooms, but thats only if I had to make a comment.

Superb. Very friendly owners, great welcome, well looked after, and they even showed us their new-born lambs. We will definitely be back.

I was received in a very welcoming manner considering I'm gay. You have to realise that one has to put up with extremes of attitudes and it is refreshing to be accepted anywhere.

It is a little bit difficult finding your way back to the hotel after going out to the town in the evening because of the lack of street lighting.

I was more than impressed with my stay at Homelye Courtyards. The proprietors could not of been more helpful and obliging. I arrived on my bicycle and had problems with my bike, and Neil the owner kindly arranged to forward on some of my luggage to reduce my weight. Also directed me to a local bike repair company to fix the problem. So I can not thank them enough. As for my actual stay, it was warm comfortable clean, and the breakfast was to die for.....SO....top top top marks if only all the establishments i stayed at were the same. Neil and his wife...THANK YOU!!

Owners were very helpful with suggestions of where to go/arranging cabs and overall friendliness. Location was very peaceful, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Room was spacious and very clean.

Rural location close to Gt Dunmow, easy reach of Braintree. Also not far from Stansted but not disturbed by aircraft. Very helpful. Helped solve need for early check-in in order to change for an afternoon wedding and recommended local walks round the farm. Generous breakfast.

Staff were very welcoming. I managed to keep in touch with my office through the free WiFi, which is charged as an extra in many hotels. Little touches like a bottle of water in the room and having a fresh breakfast cooked to order made the stay most enjoyable.

We were staying at Homelye Farm for a wedding at nearby Leeze Priory. We were only there for a short time but we were more than pleased with the lovely accommodation and rural setting. The breakfast was excellent and manager more than helpful when giving explicit directions to the wedding venue. I would definitely recommend again for anyone wanting to be near Leeze Priory or Stansted Airport.

The wet room floor could do with looking at as the water came over onto the bathroom floor.

It was very comfortable. The service was good and the room was better than in some hotels I've stayed in. In fact my daughter and I moved on to Oxford and the bathroom in that hotel was definitely of a lower standard. All in all I have only praise for the place and would have no trouble recommending it to anyone.

Location, people great farmers breakfast

We stayed at Homelye prior to a wedding and the venue was perfect and very clean. Neil looked after us all superbly and I would happily recommend Homelye to anyone considering accommodation in the area.

Very nice and quiet farm. Neil is a great host. Breakfast is quite good.

Hot water closes by itself, but you just need to let Neil know and he will fix it. We found a few ants going around the room.
