location good for us, we were able to see our family who live in welwyn then go into london, shopping etc for the day. we arrived early but they still let us book in which was considerate, friendly staff. room looked abit dated, |

The room was too small. It was smelling badly (especially the toilet), it was dark and the wi-fi was not working in the room- I had to work with my laptop in the reception. There was noise during the night (every time somebody was opening the external door for rooms1-6), and I could not sleep. Overall, this is probably the worse hotel I have ever been to. Fortunately I stayed only 1 night. |

Good friendly staff who, although busy, were happy to help. Although not a problem to me, I think there could be a problem with parking if the hotel is full. Also the WiFi access, although easy to use, seemed to have limited connectivity. (E.g. It took a long time to resolve DNS queries). This is probably a problem with the service provider. |

The bar staff are nice, dinner was nice but too expensive. Dingy, unwelcoming, shabby ,very noisy, poorly sound insulated ,rooms, poor bar area. old fashioned , poor value. |

the room was clean and had reasonably good facilities The hotel was reasonably comfortable and clean, however I think it was slightly too expensive for what was on offer... the receptionist was quite abrupt on arrival and although he was efficient in fulfilling his tasks, his manner was irritating after a long journey. I've stayed in similar hotels for a fairer price and would certainly consider choosing something cheaper next time. |
