Dining room being access to a function room which was in use so evening meal very disturbed

Friendly staff

No electricity, had to go out for dinner, no hot water, bed for 9 as no power therefore no televison, darkness and no offer of compensation.

Good size room; very comfortable; biscuits with Tea and Coffee; excellent bathroom; Penty of parking space; Free WiFi and helpful staff when accessing WiFi. Would like to have stayed longer to sample restaurant.

Clean in the corners of the shower - thats a good sign.

Room was comfortable and quiet, just what we wanted.

The cooked breakfast had obviously been kept warm - mushrooms shrivelled and sausage and bacon dried out

My room #109 had some of the noisiest plumbing I have heard adjascent to a bedroom :-(

The staff were all very friendly and superb service.

Only one towel provided in the bathroom.

Nice room good location

Our roon was above the function room and they had a disco so very noisy until 2am - although music finished at 12 they were very noisy clearing up. Complained and was told we should expect it as it was near Christmas!

Surrounded by houses and a park, it didn't have loads of traffic noise. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. The public areas were all nice and bright. Plenty of tea/coffee in the rooms, with fresh milk available if wanted.

The corridors were dark and dingy. Our bedroom although clean and tidy looked like it needed to be redecorated.

The staff were excellent and coudn't do enough for you. I would like to reccomend that if you haven't done already, to award staff for there efforts in making your customers feel extremely welcome.

The only comment I would make is attention to detail.....ie the gardens need cheering up.......new lighting ext and to make the bar area more inviting.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We hosted a both a small and a large function on Sunday 14/10 and all went very well. The helpfulness of the staff and the really excellent room and equipment meant that all ran very smoothly. The food was delicious and the one criticism is that there was too much of it! A look at portion sizes would be a help with the food costs and the profit margins. Kaska was wonderfully calm and positive and very very helpful.

The bed was soft and lumpy even though in the newly refurbished part and the coffee machine at breakfast made the hot drinks that it produced very tasteless!

it was convenient for me as where my leisure activity was taking place was only 5 minutes away

The fact that I could NOT check into my room before 2pm on my day of arrival ( I know this all hotels policy ) however it frustrates me that I am paying a premium fee for less than a 24 hour stay , as 10am is the check out time the following morning

Hotel was a little dated, but very friendly and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, very relaxed and a good variety. Will definitely stay when in the area again.

There is free WiFi throughout the hotel which was the main reason I stayed here, and it's location was ideal for me as I had a business appointment in the morning just 5 minutes away. There was plenty of parking available, mainly because there were n't a lot of guests.

From the outside the hotel seems to have a lot of character as its a fairly old building, unfortunately on the inside of the hotel the only thing that is apprent is the age, everything just comes across as being old and tired. Corridors are dark, carpets are worn, things are clean but not very welcoming.
