Friendly and good value
breakfast too expensive!
There is a pub across the road which does food all day and is not badly priced.
No food available before 5.30pm and the car park was extremely busy no parking space on 2night out of 5 that we stayed..
had a very nice stay staff very nice brekkie was fab thanx for a great stay xx
staff really friendly . environment very nice
Room was lovely, clean and functional. With complimentary apples and bottled water. Upgraded facilities great
The bed was way too hard. Probably only got two hours sleep. Pillows with none existent stuffing. Price of upgrade was poor bed.
Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Very good location for working in the Welwyn area.
The executive room with the aircon. comfortable bed, good breakfast
Lift only to 3rd floor so walk up final floor television flashing on stand by so had to get up and unplug
I had a good experience booking into and staying at this hotel, which was close to my relatives.
The location was a bit away from town centre but thats what taxis are for, still good value.
The location, price , lovely garden etc. Good parking facilities, everything well presented. Have stayed a few times and would stay more frequently if the price was right.
Nice comfy room in a quiet location
I was there for a family occasion and was travelling alone. I really loved the room it was clean and very comfortable and felt very safe even though I was not in the main building. Everyone was very friendly.
That the shower was not working. I did not try the shower out on the Sat night and was very annoyed to find tht it was not working on the Sunday morning and then, had to have a freezing cold shower. Surely this would have been reported by the previous guest, but was not repaired, spoiling what was otherwise a really lovely weekend.
The whole experience.
Location, size of room , facilities, car parking, price
Bed too soft, large light flashing on tv all night lit up room, long wait for room service, staff could have been more knowledgeable about somewhere to eat at 2130 it's not that late after all.
The room was great nice atmosphere felt very comfortable & relaxing
We ate dinner on Saturday night in the bar it was terrible we had dressed crab salad - there was hardly any salad, the dressed crab was full of shell I couldn't eat any of it, the potatoes were really old & tasted terrible. So we didn't bother with breakfast next morning after the previous nights experience.
My room picked up noise from the front outside of the hotel such that my sleep was disturbed for the two nights I had. The breakfast options are were way over priced and the food didn't look like good quality food. I ended up picking a continenal breakfast option which was just cereal, fruits and bread for £9! That's really pathetic pricing!
Surroundings. Peaceful and quiet in the hotel, and lovely green area nearby.
Breakfast rather expensive.
This is not a boutique hotel, or something pretending to be grand it is just a good, no frills hotel. I would recommend it if you are staying on a budget, it's clean, well sized rooms and has pleasant staff. Would use again.
Meals OK but limited choice WiFi slow English breakfast a little expensive
Room was clean and spacious and allowed us to check in slightly earlier
Staff wasnt particularly friendly abit cold
The room was a good size and the shower had strong water pressure. Good choice of breakfast.
Not being given a breakfast menu, but being watched and followed to see what I picked up, which was written down and added to the bill. It Just felt a little uncomfortable as I was alone.
