Breakfast was so personalised and chatty, was lovely food too. Dogs were super cute! Pleasure to be around. The garden is to die for. The owners were so welcoming and friendly, even the offer wine was such a nice touch. The room was so nice and we loved the window seat. Really good location, easy to get to and plenaty of off road parking.

    Leaving :(

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. The cottage and gardens are stunning and the food for breakfast was fresh and cooked to perfection. We will be going back!

Head-height for my 6' 4" companion was a bit of an issue!

We had a fantastic stay at Honeycomb cottage. The owner is a lovely, friendly chatty lady who we could have spoken with for hours :) excellent local knowledge and good directions to points of interest, at the time some of her family were staying and they were very friendly too. The cottage garden is as beautiful as pictured, sweet little village with a nice pub (The Drax) within walking distance. Room was very comfortable the best sleep I'd had in months! Breakfast was really yummy set us up well for the day

We had such a lovely time, Heather and Duncan are such amazing hosts! They honestly make you feel as if they have invited you as friends to stay the weekend. The location is fantastic and the cottage itself just has no words to describe how beautiful it is. Heather's excellent cooking was the perfect way to start each day, if you get the chance definitely try some of Duncan's homemade honey! Will certainly be heading back there soon! Sophie and Karl
