Rooms were modern and clean. Food in the resteraunt was superb. Got a room on the ground floor which while it was perfectly reasonable I think the rooms on the higher floors may have been even nicer.

This is the fourth time we have been to the hotel and we return because of the location, facilities and the friendly approach adopted by the staff. All are welcoming and willing to talk without being ingratiating or overly-solicitous. This time we were upgraded from a deluxe to a suite. This gave us a separate lounge area and very large bathroom. The deluxe rooms are always well equipped and spacious with good range of facilities for staying in. The views of Liverpool and the river from the suite were stunning. The restaurant provides excellent breakfasts. It is advisable to book evening meals as it is a very popular venue and produces delicious meals drawing on locally resourced products. The bathrooms look inviting and modern in style but there are some flaws - towel rails are not close to sinks, baths are too deep and take a while to fill as the water flows quite slowly. But these are minor quibbles about a very welcoming hotel.

A great welcome from very helpfull staff. Good location - easy walk to LIme Street, Liverpool 1, Albert Dock and University. Excellent food in the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast. The hotel stored our bags as we had more buisness meetings on the day we left so that we could collect them later. Pay in advance or breakfast is expensive!!

Lovely design- clean bed- comfy bed friendy staff Toilet straight in front of glass door in bathroom although it was frosted did feel uncomfortable, red hot towel rain which I got burnt on- dangerous for young and elderly children, cost did not include breadfast and for 154pound for one night not value for money-incorrect money came off our bank account which caused us to go to bank to sort out!

Style, comfort and very reasonable for the money- it wasnt particularly child-friendly, yet our children were made to feel welcome and were well-catered for. They loved the room & the breakfast, we loved the location between both cathedrals and so near to good places to eat. There was nothing we didnt like although the breakfast chef appeared to be having a bad morning on the 2nd morning of our stay.

The view from Room was nice. I arrived noon, but the staff let me check in earlier. The room has warm atomosphere, well-furnished. Room service was awsome. I want to stay again with my families or friends. the ariconditionar was broken, and there's a noise from fan in bathroom. They brought me a heater quickly, and it was enough to solve first problem.

Parking was close by. Restaurant and bar were welcoming, accommodating and quite stylish. My lost property problem (left something behind) was dealt with reasonably quickly. That I didn't get a hotel parking spot! That there isn't an unload spot outside the door - it is governed by meters.

Lovely bar & restaurant. Staff very helpful & service good. The rooms are big & airy. The older rooms in the original part of the hotel need a bit of updating. The bathroom in our deluxe room was quite shabby.

Beautiful boutique hotel in good location. Housekeeping leaving the window open so that our room was freezing and heating not working until early evening of the first day. 10 minutes to get hot water into the sink! Somewhat unconcerned attitude of staff.

The fact that booking the hotel through you it was far more expensive than to di it directly the hotel. For ex a friend paid £90 for her room when I paid through you £171.

The staff were friendly and the room service was good. The location was great. They upgraded us as it was my husbands birthday. The picture of the room on the website was confusing as not all rooms have open brickwork although that's what we thought we were getting. We complained and they moved us to a Studio room with open brickwork which was great.
