Quirky place, being a conversion from what was originally an old carriage works. Unprepossessing looking building but when you get inside it's somewhat of a surprise! Lots of exposed bricks and beams, but comfortable with helpful staff and great food. It's a 15/20 minute walk to some of the City's landmarks near the Mersey but the Hope Street area has a history of its own and the hotel is only a minute or two away from the Phil and the Everyman Theatre....

    Nothing to dislike.

This past visit was about my fourth stay with Hope Street Hotel. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Dinner service was attentive and evening food was delicious. Location is conveniently central to walking anywhere. Rooms were a high quality style.

Breakfast was poor. Staff weren't trained very well (you need to spend more on training). I had to remind them of my cooked order a few times. Also, as I was ordering off the a la carte list, I was constantly told "it was on the buffet". If that's true, why have a menu at all? The buffet itself was woeful - constantly unattended and depleted - even at 9am. I abandoned the Hope Street Hotel's breakfast the next day and spent my money around the corner at The Quarter (good food and great service). Lastly Wifi should be upgraded. Guests should have 24 hour access, and not have to constantly insert password when turning off device. Most proper hotels don't do this anymore - please spend some money for an upgrade.

Stylish hotel with well equipped bedroom (it even provides you with an iron and ironing board).

The service at breakfast was a bit slow. fine if you are away fro a break but frustrating if you are heading for a meeting.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff were also friendly and helpful. For value for money, this was the best hotel I have ever stayed at and would strongly recommend to anyone. I will definetely stay here the next time I travel to Liverpool.

The hotel was in a great location and a quiet part of town. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was lovely, clean, beds were amazing! Best nights sleep I've had in a hotel for a long time! I would highly recommend Hope Street to my friends and family, I shall be returning :)

We'll definitely stay here again next time we come to Liverpool! Gorgeous boutique hotel in a fab location.

It would have been nice if breakfast was included in the price as it's quite expensive for families! Our bathroom door needed oiling it was very creaky whenever anyone went to the loo in the night!

staff were polite and helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant. rooms were contemporary and comfortable. The Waterfall shower was amazing. The hotel is well appointed within easy reach of the theatres and cathedrals of Hope Street.

Housekeeping could have been better..I have never stayed in a hotel of this class that did not replace the complementary toiletries, tea, coffee and water each day when the room was cleaned and dressed...that was disappointing and it is a minor thing to rectify in what is an otherwise excellent hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my daughters graduation. A lovely room, with a good bathroom and a wonderful shower. Staff were very good, especially the bar staff, who wait on you hand foot and finger. Breakfast was lush and plentiful, check in and check out was fast and efficient, would highly recommend.

Couldn't work the bathroom light switch, i think they call it touch sensitive. There was a full length mirror in the bedroom which would benefit from being better lit.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. They offered advice and guidance with a smile. The room was very comfortable and had everything you could need. It is located in a pretty central position with easy walkable access to the city centre

Limited car parking spaces but the hotel has an arrangement with the Cathedral but it means you have to carry your luggage about 3 minutes walk away.
